Book Description

It is very difficult to comprehend that our destiny lies in nonphysical dimensions, but Van Auken teaches this well while explaining that our present life is the perfect prerequisite for the next one. Van Auken’s easy writing style helps to shed light on the most complicated concepts in Kabbalah, making it easier to grasp the five divisions of our being, the four planes of existence, the seven heavens, the ten emanations, and the twenty-two channels of the Infinite Creative Consciousness. We also learn how to expand our minds to perceive these realms, to journey through them, and as Van Auken writes, “to remain sane, healthy, and active in our present life.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Made a difficult subject easy to understand May 21, 2010
Format:Paperback
This is not the first John Van Auken book I've read, and I've seen him speak, so I'm a big fan. He really has a way with words and taking complicated subject matter and making it so easy to understand. I love how he relates things to his readers. The vast knowledge shared in Edgar Cayce and the Kabbalah is just mind-blowing. I highly recommend it to anyone who is on a spiritual path--no matter your religion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear Explanation of Kabbalah February 15, 2011
By Hathor
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
If you are a beginner to Kabbalah, you will find this book easy to read and understand. I've seen other books on the subject which were much more difficult to comprehend. John Van Auken always peppers his books with stories that illuminate the essence of the topic, which is very helpful. The only caveat I have is that the book does discuss Edgar Cayce's views and how they compare to the Kabbalah, so if you are not into the Cayce material, it might not appeal to you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jesus Comment on the Coast to Coast AM Radio Show May 21, 2010
Format:Paperback
On the Coast to Coast AM show with George Noory, I was referring to the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 16: "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and they shall become one flock, one shepherd." I said that this indicates that Jesus Christ has a bigger plan than we Christians may grasp, a plan that includes soul from other faiths. -John Van Auken, author of Edgar Cayce and the Kabbalah

5.0 out of 5 stars So much information packed into this book May 21, 2010
By Alison
Format:Paperback
John Van Auken has the amazing gift of taking very diffucult information and distilling it into a very interesting and easy to understand format. This book explains the application of this secret teaching that can be used by someone new to the material or a long time student.

Just loved it!

For a greater understanding of the metaphysical world, one must combine their studies. "Edgar Cayce and the Kabbalah: A Resource for Soulful Living" is a presentation and discussion of the investigations of John van Auken on the work of famous psychic and seer Edgar Cayce and his study of the Jewish mysticism of the Kabbalah. Through his studies, he brings readers an insightful look at consciousness and what lies ahead for readers. "Edgar Cayce and the Kabbalah" is a fascinating and very highly recommended read that shouldn't be missed for metaphysical studies collections.

2.0 out of 5 stars not what I expected February 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was not what I expected. I expected the book to be about Edgar Cayce and his experiences with using Kaballah's principles in his personal life. The book goes into much detailed information about Kaballah and the principles & definitions. too much information in one book which confused me sometimes
