This book is a joke. 99% of it the text is nothing but the New Testament, with about 2 pages of actually Cayce readings. I am really surprise by ARE Press. Other books of their's I've read are quite rewarding. Don't waste your time or $12.95, read the Bible instead.

Being relatively new to the Cayce readings, I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but was intrigued. What a comprehensive review of Jesus' life! I don't think I've read anything as detailed _or_ interesting . . . a definite "must read."

The author of The Hidden History of Jesus carefully gathers the new testaments scriptures about Jesus and organizes them chronologically. You will walk away with a much greater grasp of Jesus' life through the eyes of his disciples. Then the author takes the book a step further; he adds to this the insights of Edgar Cayce on theology. He has created a fascinating read for anyone with an open mind.

Edgar Cayce's Hidden History of Jesus is a great book! It is the only book that has the complete story of Jesus in one book including the missing years. It also has info from the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient historians, the Essenes, and the Edgar Cayce readings. I recommend it highly!!!

I was very surprised that the book was so short. 90% quotes the New Testament; 5% of it comes from Cayce; 5% comes from secondary sources. What's in it is interesting but I read it in 2 hours at work. Not a book I would recommend when another author has done more.

This book gives a unified version of the four existing gospels and inserts Cayce readings to add some details. I didn't find it nearly as interesting as Jeffrey Furst's book "Edgar Cayce's Story of Jesus".
