I have read every one of Thomas Cook's books and each one has a different message or meaning. He brings out the paranoia in all of us....the uncertainty, the fear we hold inside of us; never discussing it because of not wanting to let someone know it is there. Our secrets are deep within us and then we validate them by other things that happen. Masters of the Delta is a great book which will haunt you and make you think more of the way you are living your life and changes that can be made to make it better. Wonderful mystery because we know in the beginning something is going to happen, but we don't know what it is. Yet we read and see all the characters after it happens not knowing what it is this happened. Just great! gretchen g.
