Super-functional, super-cool!,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
I bought this to cart around my two kids (1 and 4) after lots of research. Man, this was a good decision! A million times better than those silly plastic tubs. The quality is fantastic and it couldn't be easier to use. And it fits in the trunk! Every time we use it, I'm asked where I got it. I've considered putting a sign on the back! The bottom is comfortable, but not particularly padded, so I throw a lambskin on the bottom. I've also used it to haul 6 bags of mulch and it's my new way of getting groceries from the car to the house. Again, very functional.
One note- the wheels are rubber and they were super-stinky for a couple of weeks. If you can, off-gas somewhere that's not enclosed (like a car). Another note, Amazon's price was over $50 cheaper than anywhere else. And believe me, I've looked.

BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED!,
By The Fold and Go wagon by Kidwise is the other wagon i was considering, and I'll tell you why I didn't go with that one. #1 The handle doesn't stay up. #2 reviewers left comments on it being hard to steer. #3 The pictures that I saw with kids sitting in the Kidwise brand wagon, the base seemed to be sagging. Which made me concerned about longevity with the majority of the weight being put on the fabric. (Like a fold-up camping chair) #4 the wheels look funny to me. They have a bar that comes off from the wheel and up to the wagon. Now keep in mind I don't own the Kidwise wagon nor have i seen anything more than online photos and reviews. Now the reason I chose this On the Edge Folding wagon was #1 The reinforced base. This wagon has a wonderful sturdy metal frame more than 6 bars in the base of the wagon mean no saggy butts, and no stress on the fabric. Sewn into the bottom of the wagon (the part your child would be sitting on) there is a sheet of plastic and thin layer of foam. So its fairly comfy. You can throw one of those square foam baby changing pads in the bottom if its not squishy enough for ya, but my one year old thinks its great as is. Oh and it hold 150lbs. #2 The handle. This handle is very long and the grip is nice and wide. I am 5ft 10in and I hate leaning over to push or pull something. Standing right next to this wagon the handle is practically in my armpit. It's nice. Plus it just snaps into a clip on the frame of the wagon that hold the handle up out of the mud. #4 The wheels. They are right up under the base of the frame, and are nice firm rubber all terrain wheels. They turn in every direction very easily and it pulls smooth. #5 All the little extras. 2 Little mesh cup holder on the outside by the handle. So the kids won't grab your drink.A small mesh bag on the inside for the kids stuff or the sun canopy when not in use. The metal frame even supports a big basket on the back! #6 The sun canopy. Its easy to put on and off. There is a flexible extending pole on each corner that pulls up and then the tarp is stretched over the top. (easy for one person to do quickly) The poles flex to keep the tarp pulled taunt and there are velcrow strips that come down from the tarp and attach to the wagon to keep it from going anywhere. The poles slide easily and push right back down into the wagon frame when not in use. There is a little pull strip on the inside of the base of the wagon to fold it up quickly. There is no lock to keep it together but there is a set of padded cloth handles that Velcro together to keep the wagon in the folded position, and allow you to carry or lift it into your vehicle. It has a slip cover that goes over the whole thing when its collapsed. The slip cover has a hole for access to the cloth handle and also two long straps with clips that wrap down around the whole thing to keep it flat and secure. I do have one comment thats not good or bad, just good to know. It doesn't stand on end when folded. You have to lean it against a wall, and have to play with the wheels a bit to get it to lean without rolling. Also if you are putting a kid in this wagon, since it doesn't have a seat belt built in, I bought a black baby buddy deluxe harness (like $15) that came with secure straps for high chairs or shopping carts. I leave the side straps on the wagon, because thats the only place I use them, and just leave the harness on him while we are out, because its easy to click him into the wagon, or let him down and put the parent lead on it. I'm not a huge fan of "walking your kid" but using a harness as a seat belt in this wagon is perfect! I'll probably buy another harness so I can strap a kid on each end securely. Throughout this just seems to be a well built, sturdy little wagon. If you can't tell... I love it, and I can't wait to get out and show it off! And someday when the kids are done with it I can use it in the garden or tailgating or whatever those other uses for it were. I just wanted everyone to know its not just for yard work. Your kids will love it too. Mine does!

Mostly solid, but with quality issues. Not for Disney trips,

This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
I certainly appreciate the folding nature of the wagon and the metal frame seems solid. Plastic end caps are not particularly tenaciously placed and after less than a few hours, I have noticed 1 plastic end cover is MIA and 2 are loose. Some damage was evident soon after arrival. There was a tear in the fabric lining on one side and at least one joint was broken. I did not immediately notice the broken joint, and I needed the wagon immediately as I was on vacation and had it delivered to my lodging. It did not prevent me from using the wagon, which the kids love, but it can't be good for the long term durability. Also, the canopy did not come in the box. Calling the company resulted in them notifying me that they will send one to me when it comes back in stock in a couple of weeks. The wagon is definitely an attention getter, but I found out that at Disney World, you cannot take it into the theme park. Because one has to pull it, not push it (due to the placement of the rotating wheels as opposed to the fixed axis wheels), it is considered a tripping hazard. It was kept in customer relations for the day and I was given a voucher for a free stroller rental. If I can shore up the damaged parts, it still ought to be useful on the boardwalk or at a picnic.

Love this wagon,
This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
I ordered this wagon because I saw someone else using a similar one in the park. It is from the other company. But after I did some search I decided to buy this one. It is a very convenient wagon and very well made, and surprisingly very sturdy. It folds up very flat and easy to fit into my van. I used to have a double jogger and it was getting too heavy for me to push with my twins of over 70 lbs. It is very very easy to turn and very spacious. The canopy is big and easy to put on or off, very clever design. I lived in San Diego and I take kids out everyday. People constantly ask me where I got it. Absolutely love it.

Do not purchase to tote children....,
This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
We purchased the wagon to move two special needs children while on vacation. To my dismay, our maiden voyage on our level driveway was a disaster....a front wheel fell off. I immediately contacted On the Edge...their customer service is amazing and I have nothing but good to say about the company...they sent out a new wagon. Upon arrival it was grease stained and looked used...the customer service rep once again did right by us and offered to send a new one even though I was going to have to take the "used looking" one on vacation. We took it on vacation and to our horror, both front wheels snapped off while on a gently sloping sidewalk with the boys in it causing one to fall out. Thankfully, there were no injuries. We were within the tolerance/weight limits and certainly were not "off roading" infact we used the wagon for not more than .5 miles. The design concept of the wagon is amazing. The extra few pennies that a bolt, set of washers and a lock nut would cost to secure the front wheels would be well worth the investment. We are deeply disappointed in the product...however, we are more than willing to purchasee from the company again as repeatedly they did the right thing.

Radio Fyler All Terrain vs. On the Edge,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
Radio Flyers are a classic and a must have for all kids - so we were STOKED to get one for Christmas last year. It's great to use to store toys or cart him around the neighborhood. It's large, very roomy, looks sharp and very classy. Only problem, it's bulky. I've always wanted a wagon that I could pop into my car and take with us to a park or an outdoors Farmer's Market. The wagon would fit, but then I couldn't fit much of anything else. I saw someone with the On The Edge Wagon, asked them what they thought, did some research and had it on my wish list for ages. I finally got one.
Pros: It's small. Folds up very flat and compact. No assembly required. Comes FULLY stocked with a storage bin (in the back) - 2 cup holders (in the front) and the canopy. Unlike the Radio Flyer which you have to buy additional accessories. EXCEPTIONALLY ROOMY!! My 1 year old, 2 Bostons (26lb & 27lb) can fit in it without climbing on each other. Steers with ease. IF we took my son out in it, we could lay some blankets on the bottom (it is very firm and I can see it getting to be uncomfortable after maybe 45 minutes sitting in it). The storage bin is large - I can definitely fit my diaper bag and a bunch of other things in it. There is also a "hook" that keeps the handle upright so you don't have to "drop" it on the ground when you're out. Nice - keeps the handle clean. The system comes with a cover that wraps around it for storage (and keeps it clean). Cons: Kinda smells - it's the packaging so I'm waiting to air it out. Some parts look cheap - like the plastic caps and poles that holds the canopy up. We shall see if it will make it through grabby kiddos. The Canopy sits about 3inches lower than I'd like. not a lot of head room (if your kid's torso is really tall - it may be annoying since they may not be able to see out). Surprises: I didn't expect the bars all to be wrapped in protective covering - the picture on Amazon, has the cross bars exposed. I'm glad it's covered - especially since my kid likes to gnaw on things. Wish List: Wish there were "jump seat" features where my kid could be strapped in. More padding on the bottom - or at least an extra insert. For the price point and all the accessories that it comes with, you can't beat it. Very convienent, doesn't take up much space and stylish (for a wagon).

Great Concept - needs tweaking,
By
This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
The overall concept of this folding wagon is commendable, its folding method was simple and easy, the way the handle had a up locking clip was very handy, the rear basket was extremely useful and the canopy was great for shade. we took it on a trip with our two children (2 and 5) a combined weight of 80lbs. while it states that it is rated for 150 lbs on the first day of use in a zoo we found that the way the front wheels were attached it could not support the weight over a lenghty period of time and after 4 hours of hauling them around one of the wheels welds broke. after that we only hauled the 2yr old around on the back end of the wagon and were thrilled with the ability to maintain it's balance. We also noticed that the straps that help hold the canopy to the frame might have been a bit short and after the day of use the corner trim was pulling away from the canopy fabric. We had previously considered purchasing parts to attach snaps to the top of the canopy bars and the bottom of the canopy fabric corner to prevent the pulling of the edging. The next day we traded in the wagon for a replacement and headed off for another adventure, this time only allowing the 2yr old to ride. unfortunately we found that if we don't start the wagon rolling straight for a bit first then turn, the plastic connection that attaches the handle to the frame will snap off the handle. We re-connected the handle and beefed up the connection. A couple of days later after hauling our 2yr old around we became confident that the initial wheel issue may have been a one time defect so we put both kids inside with the heavier one at the back. Within an hour, both front wheels had collapsed and broken at the welds rendering the wagon useless. We decided to return this wagon and receive a refund, but because of the concept, if the manufacturer ever decides to beef up the frame, etc. we would gladly try it out again.

This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
This wagon is AWESOME!!!! We love it! The first time we took it out we got so many compliments and told everyone to go buy one. You can fit your kids in here and toys, cooler, whatever. There are plenty of pockets and an extra storage pack on the back. The canopy is great for protection but the absolute amazing thing is the fact that it folds up into a small bag!! You can take it anywhere with you, we plan on traveling with it when we go places like Seaworld, Disneyland, etc. Also, we do not have a lot of garage space...who does in SoCal...so why would you buy one of those huge plastic ones??? Where do you even store those and you can't really throw them in the car to take with you. This one is so great and we will use it for a long time, even when our kids are older we can use it to take stuff to the beach, etc. It is a great product, very sturdy and well made...I would recommend it to anyone.

LOVE IT!,

This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
I bought this wagon after reviewing several different ones. I needed one that was easy to get in and out of my car and this was it. It folds with ease and is very spacious when in use. I bought it for my 15 month old, there is space for her (and my 11 yr old!) plus the end has a nice spot for storage and there are drink holders in the front. I love the canopy and the first day I took it out all the kids at the park ran over to check it out, I also had a few parents ask me where I got it. I would recommend this wagon to anyone!

A nice daycare ride,

This review is from: On the Edge 900124 Red Folding Utility Wagon With Handle (Automotive)
So far so good, the wagon is great. I can fit four daycare kids in it and I can still pull it up a hill, I couldn't believe it was sturdy enough to hold them, but it is. It's comfortable for the kids and the canopy is great to protect them from the sun. The only downfall is the steering is a little hard when back up or getting into a confined space. It is a great product, especially if you are looking for space for more than one or two kids.
