This is one of the finest books on the afterlife I have ever read. Answers many questions. It is profound to say the least. Any atheist who reads this and is not partially turned around, is a damn myopic fool. SUPERB

I have read many books in my lifetime and I can say with utmost sincerity that his is the second greatest and most important book that I have ever read. The greatest book being The French Revelation by Haggerty. Both books are along the same lines, revealing and explaining the true meaning of life, why we are here, and where we are going. It provides concrete proof of life after death and describes in detail the spirit world to which we all will be going. This has NOTHING to do with beliefs or religeon. This should be required reading for everyone on the planet. Just think about what life would be like if we all knew with absolute certainty that we survive death and that we are absolutely accountable and responsible for our behavior. Every thought, every word, and every deed is recorded and determines our vibration, and to which level (realm)

we will reside in for eternity.

Such an amazing book first published in 1931. Its much like a Norman Rockwell piece that you can read. Let me explain.. The 20's and 30's were the hay-day of spiritualism and metaphysical studies. This book follows the experiences of the author upon attending psychic readings and trumpet sessions of medium John Sloan over the course of 12 years. On the Edge of the Etheric comes from a time when Ouija boards and other divination/spirit communication tools were utilized by much of the general public. In fact, Norman Rockwell (who is most famous for illustrations of everyday life scenarios) did a painting of a couple playing with a Ouija board... (May 1920) The sessions were attended by a secretary who would record what was said and what happened during all of these accounts. The amount of detail that went into creating this book is stunning. The author also explains his methods of making sure there was no trickery on the part of any of those involved. I think the subtitle says it all: Survival After Death Scientifically Explained.

there are sequels where topics are fully considered! yay! theres more! (The Rock of Truth, The Unfolding Universe, and Looking Back)

cons:

i wish it was longer. made me curious about "whats next" and hungry for more!

The author repeats points occasionally throughout the book... perhaps to really let those points sink in.. but I didn't think it necessary and sometimes annoying

This book can give you hope, take away fear, and change your life if you allow it to.
