Edge of Forever has followed me through the years and countries, and have been replaced many times due to "permanent loan" and natural elements (like falling overboard on the sailboat)...It attended my wedding reception... helped me through pregnancy and labor, and now rock my sons to sleep...I found out I resided very close to the artist while in CA, and that made me even more of a fan, being able to see him.
Hilary Stagg's Edge of Forever is a permanent part of my life due to it's soulful, smooth texture. It is appropriate for healing work and a peaceful background sound to daily life. I feel lucky to have found it.

Like raindrops falling on a lightly drizzling day ... the plucked notes of the acoustic harp create mysterious melodies and a smooth soothing peaceful milieu. Occasionally, the rhythm and speed intensifies, adding pleasant emotional waves of listening pleasure as the notes wash over the listener, like the waves spashing onto the shore, sometimes softly, other times with more force. Keyboard synthesizers add colorful musical interludes and enhancements. There are exhilarating flights of fantastic music that rise and fall in rhythmic exhaltation of life. The dance of particle, energy, and sound are in vibrational harmony ... all is well in the universe. As with all Hilary Stagg CD's, the production value is first rate. The resonance of his modified electric harp has beautiful "shades of colors"...but I must say that in the last track on this CD..."Forever"..I have found a WONDERFUL lullaby..complete with ocean waves(and not too overdone like some other CD's I own),velvety soft flute and minimal but effective harp...... all melt together beautifully. The track is quite long around 11 minutes but that makes it even better for drifting off into peaceful slumber...how many times have I awoke to find the stereo still on from the night before! At first his music could seem a bit treacly or syrupy, but if you relax and let yourself "fall into the music", your mind should soon follow. Recommended also are his CD's "Dream Spiral" "The Edge of Forever" and my favorite "Sweet Return" which happens to be his latest release. You can't really go wrong with any of them!

This is what I listen to when I am tired and/or stressed. Seems to get my breathing down to a deep level. Relaxing.

If you like harp and/or New Age music, titles by Hilary Stagg are for you. In addition to this album, I also own Dream Spiral and Sweet Return. Beautiful harp playing. Definitely satisfies the harp lover in you!

I read reviews of this artist and it was all the great reviews of each of them that led me to invest some money in one of Stagg's albums. I was not disappointed. The music is full of a rich beauty that evokes profound feelings of peace, even bliss. I love it!

I just love this CD. Throughout college, our CLC leader used this CD during our meditation exercised. It puts you in a very relaxful state where your spirit feels free.

Awhile back, I attended an arts and crafts fair and came across a booth where this music was being sold. The seller provided headphones to listen to and when I put the headphones to my ears, the music travelling inside me was so beautiful and enchanting, I bought it on the spot.
That was years ago and the music still enchants me. Whenever I feel myself becoming stressed out, I put this on and it relaxes me everytime.

Excellent music as background during prayer services, personal prayer or meditation, etc. Soothing, gentle melody remains consistent without any distracting highs or lows.

A beautiful and healthy kind of music to listen to. It even calms down my son' asthma!
