Now (October/November) is the time of year to listen to this album, when the woods are thinning brown and the sky is gray with the gathering winter. It's not stark, but it's distilled to the essence of emotion, and it teeters on the brink of being dark. It's soothing and haunting and frightening all at the same time. Perhaps it's best to clear your mind - just give in - relax and let the composer and performers take you on a journey that has a different destination each time you travel. Usurpo!
