5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than I expected - Buy all of their CDs, February 29, 2004

When my brother first sent me this CD, I wasn't too sure about it, because I am not a heavy metal fan. But I listened, and now I'm hooked. I get many of Edgewater's tunes stuck in my head for weeks after listening to it. My favorite tracks on their first CD are Tres Quatros, As If You Know Me, and Anthem. I hear these guys are awesome live.

I'd recommend Edgewater's second CD "Lifter" as well. It's even better than "Edgewater". Eyes Wired Shut and Sweet Suffocation are very upbeat. Ode to You and Lifter are slow and thoughtful. Their tribute to Tom Petty with Won't Back Down is great too.

Their newest album "South of Sideways" is due in April '04. Can't wait to hear it. Right now, Edgewater is unknown to most of the US. I hope that changes with the release of "The Punisher" soundtrack - They've got a track with one of my faves - Eyes Wired Shut!

I remember as I was growing up, hear my brother play the guitar for hours upon hours, it payed off! Justin- I am very proud of you and happy for you and all of the hard work you have put into your success with the band. All 5 of you young men are very talented and I have to admit that I am very surprised at how much I love your music! Even if you weren't my brother, I'd still love the music! Especially, Lifter! Great song! I would totally recommend this band, and you guys deserve all the success that will come your way! As soon as you guys break through Texas and are heard through out the country, I can only imagine the success, and the fans! Keep at it, y'all are already stars!
