The stunning photos are just the icing on the cake in this book. It is chock full of practical advice for planting, including gorgeous arrangements you can plant and eat together. The recipes look amazing, and there is plenty of good information on each plant type and how to grow it as well. Definitely, a great all around resource for growing and enjoying edible flowers.

This book is truly a beautiful book!
It has a lot of information on edible flowers: from how to plant them to how to utilize them in your kitchen. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had a little more history behind each flower, and the medicinal facts behind them. Great book nonetheless!

"Edible Flowers" is a dazzling cookbook that's Edenic in its depiction of flowers in gardens and their uses for cooking. There are basics of flower&herb gardening,as well as glorious, colorful pictures. From mint leaves in ice water to lavender in French recipes, it shows that flowers not only look good in the garden, but on the plate. It's a feast for the senses. It's a user-friendly cookbook too. "Edible Flowers" is a Garden of Eatin' indeed!
