A must have
If you live in PA and you are interested in edible plants this book is a must have. Very well organized.

poor
I paid 4 times what this book was worth, and when I received the book I was upset that all the descriptions of plants were crude pencil drawings. How can you accurately determine what is a dangerous or edible plant from a black and white drawing. I was very disappointed and this book is useless.

This is a great book especially if you're relatively new to foraging. It's well put together and the drawings are accurate. If you want to learn about edible wild plants you'd want to buy several books and train the eye with the help of both botanical drawings and photographs and this is one of the books you'd want to get. Highly recommend it.

The descriptions for each plant is very good and very relavent to the Pennsylvania area where I live. Having color pictures would make this a lot more valuable as a resource.
