After horrible struggle with m-audio junk I came across this keyboard! I was looking for a really small keyboard, small and slim enough to fit on my desk's keyboard shelf. The desk's keyboard shelf is too low for typing and takes you too far from the screen so the typing is possible only using binoculars ;). So i decided I will use the shelf for MIDI controller, especially it is a perfect position for the hands. IT IS THE ONLY CONTROLLER ON THE MARKET THAT FITS THERE! But what is even better it is very solidly build, great quality keyboard! The keys while have short path have terrific feel to them and allow fast, articulate and accurate playing. The materials, the assemblage the overall feel is awesome. Everything done with a great taste and ergonomics.
To be said this keyboard is not designed to be your big keyboard replacement, but for composing, MIDI editing, synth works, it is awesome piece. While little is has big deal of controls and very well conceived software editor. It even has modulation and vibr. controls and comes with key templates that you can put over the controls and label them conveniently. It also can take two pedals!!!
The documentation is VERY helpful, very educational and well printed.
This product an example of what small MIDI controller has to be!
