What the...?,

When the back of the book said; 'If you think that you are beyond surprise. That nothing can shock you...Think again.' They were correct. I was utterly taken by surprise. Did I feel it was strange to lose three close people of that magnitude. Yes. However, I figured it to be bad coincidences by the author. I was pleasantly wrong.At first, I thought Sam to be whipped by the experience of Evelyn bestowed upon him. (Well, most likely he was.) Come to find out he's this clingy guy, and likes to do away with those that attempt to leave him. I went through an array of emotions with Sam, and at times, I often found myself feeling sorry for him. The book carried me from page to page weightlessly, and I found myself gobbling the book in no time. Although there was nothing spectacular about this prose, I was moved by the story. Good Job, Simpson! |
