A Labor of Love,
By Ginnine Principe (Monterey, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Edna's Nudes (Paperback)
The entire Bullock experience of Photography might be described as a "Labor of Love". Following the death of her husband, acclaimed photographer Wynn Bullock, Edna Bullock picked up her first camera. Wynn's camera that is. What emerged was a style that is pure. So uniquely Edna. The nude body in nature so positively merged with the environment as to enrapture the viewer and cause pure awe. Edna's ability to "compose" reflected years of true understanding of the fine art that is black and white photography. What a gift! This book is further enhanced by the words of Barbara Bullock-Wilson, Edna's daughter. A must have for any serious collector.
