Edu can do no musical wrong...., June 21, 2005
At least in my humble opinion. Especially after seeing him perform live just recently (March 2005). This album is beautiful. His voice, wow, what a voice. Not like Caetano's, which can be described as "angelic" maybe??, but a very manly voice. Amazing arrangements, by both Edu and Luiz Eca. But, what can I say, any fan should like this CD. Anyone else, well, if you dig Jobim, Tamba Trio, etc, you'll probably like this. And there are two bonus tracks, recent takes of songs from the album.

One of Edu Lobo's masterpieces, May 8, 2007

This is one of Edu Lobos's most sought after albums, and the reasons are clear enough: the songs, the words and the arrangements are all excellent throughout. Great album. The title, though, is incorrect: it is plainly EDU LOBO.
