This is the story of how Anita Hoge investigated and uncovered how the state of Pennsylvania was implementing a psychological test to measure the students' beliefs, yet calling it "educational testing" to unsuspecting students and parents. Those with the "wrong" opinion receive extra "treatment" and the field of education turned away from teaching the basics (Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic). Anita stood up to the education establishment and forced it to obey the law.
This book is an absolute "Must Read" for anyone that cares about what is really occurring in the field of education.

I'm 69 years old. From the 3rd grade through the 8th, I went to 2 country schools. The curriculum then emphasized the 3 "R's" along with some history. But for those of you who are from the ages of 20 to 40 who went to public schools, did you notice that something was not right with your "education"? Did you and your classmates get the attitude "I hate school"? What was the point of math and history since you felt that you would derive little benefit from the "established curriculum"? Did the schools hand you questionaires about the details of your parents income and beliefs? Were there questions about whether or not you would conform to the group beliefs, or to your own beliefs? According to Phyllis Schlafly in her "Child Abuse in the Classroom" (1985), this intrusion into the students' personal lives was rampant even in the 1980"s. If so, then perhaps this intrusion was part of the "behavior modification" agenda. I don't know since I wasn't there. I'm just relaying what I've learned from the books I mentioned below.

"Educating for the New World Order" deals with what I believe is the true purpose or agenda of government controlled schooling. I say schooling (training) instead of education. The alleged purpose of public schools is basically to teach the 3 "R's". And this seems to be the beliefs of the parents. But for the past 40 years or so, the emphasis in public schools has been on behavior and belief modification instead of academic skills. This modification leans toward a group or collectivist attitude instead of individual initiative. The key goal of this attitude adjustment is toward a group consensus. The individual should accept whatever the group believes. Group consensus is the goal whether or not students learn facts.

I read this book in 1992. When I told my friends and relatives what was coming in education (teaching homosexuality and beastiality, global citizenship, etc.), they thought I was a kook. They're not laughing now! All American schools are now obliged to teach kids how to be a multicutural, non-judgemental, citizen of the world. I also recommend her book, "Cloning of the American Mind." Her books are long on details, and not real entertaining, so you're going to have to work at them -- but it's worth it. -- RustyMason.com

An excellent expose' on public schools in America. Heard this talked about on a vhs of Pat Lutzig of Pennsylvania back in the late 80's when my kids were in public elementary school. The facts from this book and that video allowed me to go in to school board and public meetings and call the 'change agents' out for what they were, with the methods needed to expose what was going on behind the scenes. When I realized how the national government was steering the state and local school leadership into a type of education that was not only dumbing down our kids, but dismantling their belief system and opinions that we had instilled in them, I went after them with a vengeance. This book is also one of THE biggest reason we then chose to home school our two daughters until they graduated from high school to start college. This book is a back door to understanding how our public schools have been corrupted by the John Dewey humanist philosophy, and destroyed any attempt to give our kids understanding of logic and their family's importance to them. Ever wonder why schools were so bent on bringing computers in to take the place of books and writing? This book will answer that. And it's not good.
