This book reveals insights into the tragic results of decisions made in government funded and directed education (the public school systems) that have been fulfilled today. Machen saw clearly where "lowest common denomiinator" approach to education destroys all education and eventually becomes an environment which is tollerable to no one. Machen proves that there is nothing more religious than education and the process of education.
