Education Outdoors Snipe Game 19149165

From the Manufacturer

The snipe hunt game can be played with two people, two teams or single seeker play and incorporates both indoor and outdoor activity and good old fashioned fun. The object of snipe is to be the first team/person to find the other team/persons Snipe and return it to it's nest. After the players have hidden their Snipe, the other player will try to find it. After a period of time, if the Snipes have not been discovered, they will chirp and then their eyes will light up. Each game comes with (2) snipes and a snipe nest. The packaging tells the story behind these legendary camp fire animals.

In our house, this game is possible for kids to play by themselves, but adults actually WANT to join in.

Though simple in concept, this game has already provided hours of entertainment to my kids, ages 7 and 3. The snipes are cute and make chirping noises as long as they remain out of their nest and unfound. Chirping becomes more frequent and their eyes start flashing as time passes.

In our house, this game is possible for kids to play by themselves, but adults actually WANT to join in. It's like an Easter egg hunt with WAY more possible hiding places. Because the snipes make noise to draw you to them, kids can use their ears and eyes to hunt and still be successful even when the snipes are hiding in really tricky spots. Usually, we modify the rules by sending the kids to hunt together after an adult has hidden the snipes. After one snipe is returned to its home and the hunters head out to find the second one, the first snipe "runs away" and must be found again. I would rather play Snipe Hunt than have to engage in hide and seek any day.

I'm 17 years old, and my siblings and I recently went to a birthday party for a friend who just turned 6. We played this game while there, and it was the funnest one I have ever played! Even our pastor (who is in his 40's) and the child's dad was playing and laughing too. We played boys against girls (the girls won most of the rounds), and it worked really well. Hint: put the snipe in a sock, then put that in a sock, etc. It makes it harder to hear, and you won't see the eyes flashing. It works well for older kids. :) No matter how old you are, you will enjoy this game(unless you don't like fun. ;).

This game is so awesome. I bought 2 of these at Christmas time (one for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and one for my best friends 2 year old son). Both of our kids LOVE it. I hide them and have my daughter find them. Sometimes we turn off the lights and try to find them in the dark. The best part of this game is that my 2 1/2 year old has to actually be quiet to hear the chirping of the snipes which makes for a little quiet time for mommy. : ) We will be buying many more of these as gifts.

Great outdoor game for kids ages 7-10. Perfect for small parties or sleepovers. Also a great hard to find gift for the kid that has everything.

My daughter who turned 9 got this game for her birthday. Really cute and really fun. We had cousins ages 6-16 playing this game and all kept wanting to hide again. Can be played inside and outside. I am now buying one for my nephew and probably an extra one to hold on to for birthday party gifts.

This game has been an absolute blast. We have everyone involved from 4 years old to 74 years old all playing together. Great family fun for all. The game is easy to figure out, but try a couple of practice runs before you start hiding for good. Also, it is a good idea to set your own rules about where you can hide the Snipes, like not inside something, or in a mechanical room where someone might get hurt looking.
