My 3 year old got this for Christmas and he loved it, he is now 4 and both he and his 2 year old brother still use it all the time. They have put a dent in the see through plastic front but overall it has held up well (and they are VERY rough with it). The door handle will detach instead of break when they stand on, drop, or over extend the door and is easily reattached.

I recently purchased this microwave for my son and he is OBSESSED with it. Wants to "warm up" food for us all the time. It has been dropped three or four times - dropped pretty hard on brick floor - and still keeps on beeping with no issues. Two small things - the door is a bit tricky to close. Not a big thing but something that is noticeable. Also the battery life is not so hot. We have changed the batteries several times - but he uses it ALL THE TIME so that's probably part of the battery issue. High on the fun scale. Amazing that it provides actual hours of entertainment...

This toy is awesome. It's small so that a child can handle it and yet gives all the functions expected of a toy microwave. My 5 yr old loved it, she wanted an exact one like her mom with rotating turn table. She was really amused to see the small table inside rotate. Definitely worth the money.
