Fire Escape

This was purchased for my 7 year old grandson who loves to work with mazes and puzzles. In addition he enjoys playing with advanced construction toys and building his own contraptions that are capable of doing almost anything that he can think of. They are his own inventions. What I consider unique about this toy and others like it is that when a child receives it the child must put his thinking, reasoning, logic cap on in order to solve the puzzle. Lately as a result of all the modern technology that we are accustomed to, people have forgotten the most mundane things that are part of or used to be part of one's life. Thinking, conversing, figuring things out without the aid of a machine. It seems as if those days are gone and the positive attributes that went along with that time period have also disappeared to a great extent. This is a game that makes a child reason and try to solve problems. There are different levels of difficulty and each level opens up a new opportunity to try and think about different ways that would lead to a satisfactory resolution to a puzzling situation. When he opened the box and took out the game he immediately set to work trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle. He took to it so fast that he did not give his mom the opportunity to read the directions as to what he should be trying to achieve and what the different parts of the puzzle consist of. He was very excited and wanted to figure it out on his own. Finally he gave in and his mom read the instructions to him that would lead him onto the right path in order for him to reach a satisfactory resolution. I recommend this game and others like it for children that are patient and like to take the time to solve different types of mazes and/or puzzles. This is not a quick fix when it comes to achieving satisfaction resulting from being able to win a game in 15 minutes or less. It is a puzzle that can be frustrating at times. It also takes time to feel rewarded when you have finally solved the puzzle, especially if it is one of the more advanced puzzles. Excellent way to strengthen a child's ability to figure things out on their own and it isn't always easy. Very similar to real life situations.

Can you find the path to put out the fire and save the hotel guest? This 3D maze puzzle makes you think on both sides of the maze at the same time. Magnetic pieces for the extinguishers and your fireman. Lots of fire plans included, at 4 different levels of difficulty. When you solve one, slide the next one into the building for a new challenge.

Loads of fun - an extra-big hit with my logic-puzzle-crazy 12-year-old.

I bought this for my 5 year old fire enthusist. The game says ages 8, but my son adores this puzzle game. I find it fun and challenging for myself as well. There are 4 different levels with plenty of puzzles. The game is very well made. I was shocked to see the durable quality when my son opened it. Great game/puzzle for price!

I got this toy for my 5 year old and he has really enjoyed it. it is challenging and "intelligent" in that it makes you think logically and resolve problems. He is also entertained by it and then proud that he solved the "high" level challenges. This is along the lines of "Royal Rescue" which is a wonderful, amazing game- check it out!!!
