I researched several versions of the US quarters map before deciding on this one for my elementary school age child. I like that it offers topography instead of bright colored states. It is nicely oversized, the quarters stay in well (don't fall out when you carry the folder around), and the cardboard is a nice heavy construction. Couldn't have asked for more.

I like the design of this, with a map to locate all the quarters. You can gain the knowledge about USA geography at the same time. And it is not very expersive to me. I like this.

My grandchildren (ages 5 - 8) really loved the idea, and we spent about 2 hours the first night looking for the right quarters. They have become serious collectors, and know most of the states. I highly recommend for all.

I bought this book for my nephew. It is a beautiful way to display the quarters. I had purchased one at Walmart (5.25) and thought the quality was much better than this one. This book is cardboard and the corners were already wearing in two days. I was very disappointed knowing I spent 20.00. I would not recommend this state book for durability. Sorry - Walmart doesn't carry the state quarter book anymore. Live and learn.

This was a great purchase! It's fun for both my daughter and myself. It's a fun way for her to learn geography and learn a bit of state history. The fact it's a topographical map allows for the imagination to envision what each state may appear to look like. And seeing those quarters spread out on the map, and easily seeing what quarters we still need to find. Too bad it doesn't have slots for US territories that will have quarters of their own starting next year. But, that's my only con... which I don't think you'll find with ANY quarter map out there. Enjoy!

I bought this for my 8 year old. Almost all the quarters she put in ended up "sinking in" and getting lost between the top and bottom layers. The edges are already frayed (she's only had it 1 1/2 weeks) and quite frankly it's boring! The less expensive versions have questions about the states that come with it so it's much more than just something to look at. It's size is unattactive as well. I thought since the cost was was 3 times as much as the other ones it must be better. Sadly I was mistaken! Would definitely not recommend this item.

I am really impressed with this map of the United States that has slots for commemorative quarters from each state.

The collecting of the quarters is quite enjoyable and this is a great vehicle for displaying them. The educational value is superb as a geographical tool.

My granddaughter, age 5, has one and is very proud of each state quarter she collects. I'm in my sixties and have purchased one for myself. I'm every bit as enthusiastic. Our collecting has become a joint project.

This is a winner!

My son received this for Christmas and has been steadily collecting these quarters ever since. My grandfather was a coin collector and I thought it would be fun to share that hobby. This is a great map. However, some of the inserts are "impossible" to get out at times. I see the price has increased to almost $60. I have no idea why. It's a great map but not worth that kind of money. I would highly recommend this produt if the price came back down to $20 or less.
