The arm pulling out of the socket is annoying, but fixable.

Remember that game where you put the egg on the spoon and you race a friend, well Mr. Scrambles is that egg and he even comes with a giant spoon!

It worked once and then it would not work again; even after a fresh battery change.

Our 4 year old son received this toy for Christmas. He really liked playing with it, and it was a lot of fun for him, with so many different games to play. However, you need to squeeze Mr. Scrambles left hand to activate certain things, and his arm easily becomes detached. So, you have to peel back the cover and push the arm back into the outlet. To add to the frustration, the arm constantly becomes disconnected. I'm not sure why the company designed it this way, but it wasn't a good idea. We still play with Mr. Scrambles, but dealing with the arm issue is irritating.

WOW! Mr. Scrambles is a terrific toy! 7 different games. They love hide and seek. Someone hides him then pushes his hand. He says, Yoo Hoo; here I am; over here. And gives hints so the kids can find him. They LOVE it! Also, pass the egg, He comes with a spoon and says silly things like, hold me over your head in the spoon and walk backward. If he drops he says, "splat, oops I cracked, game over." 5 other games too. I love it. Best toy of the year!!!!

My 3 year old niece totally loved this, I will be gifting this to another child as well. I highly recommend this product. The favorite was "egg hunt" where you hied it, then the child looks for it and mr scrambles says things like woohoo over here to help the child listen for where it is hiding. No other game out there has a feature like this! We also love "hot egg" dont get caught holding mr scrambles when music stops!

I purchased Mr. Scrambles for my nieces 3rd birthday. It worked once and then it would not work again; even after a fresh battery change. I emailed Fat Brain Toys and they were very prompt and kind about sending a replacement. I was very impressed with the customer service I received. However, the replacement is just as bad, so I definitely can not recommend this toy to anyone.

My daughter absolutely loved this toy, it was her favorite, especially the hide and seek, she giggled every time he'd taunt her. He is made to be dropped, he has sensors for him to be known when he's being dropped. Yet after being dropped about 9 times, he suddenly stopped working! She played with it so much I naturally assumed it was the batteries, but after replacing them it still does not work. Nothing I do is working. My daughter was heart broken! 2 days worth of playing and scrambles is scrambled!! VERY POORLY MADE!!!!

We love Mr Scrambles and really enjoyed playing all the games he has. However, we have now purchased two of them and the hand stopped working on both after only using him a few times. You need that hand button to play any of them games. I am so disappointed since we really enjoyed the toy when it worked

I got this for my triplet boys, who are just about to turn four. It is the first game that all three have liked to play. As a group, their favorite game is the egg race - they will actually take turns running the course. They also do pretty well with pass the egg.

For one of the three, this is the first game that he has shown any interest in at all. We've tried a variety of games and he just won't sit still or follow any rules. But the first time I pulled this out, we played hide and seek (egg hunt) for over half-an-hour. He would hand me the egg, tell me to hide it, and leave the room. Then he'd come back and laugh the entire time he was searching. It is still his favorite game.

There are a few flaws with the game. I haven't had the problem with the left arm disconnecting, but I see how it could happen. Opening the back to change games is annoying, especially with one of the kids who wants to switch games after playing each one just once. The voice could also be a louder. With hide and seek especially, it is hard to hear the egg give the clues. It can't be hidden too far behind anything, and the kids can't be too loud. Right now they think it's fun if the egg is almost in plain sight, but it won't be long before they'll want more of an challenge.

I found this toy by accident, but I'm glad I did. It is a lot of fun to play with and my six year old loves it. It is simple enough that you can figure out the games without having to read the instruction manual. The voice casting is good and the Egg is quite funny, especially for kids. Some thought was put into the dialog and I applaud the efforts. However, it does get a bit repetitive with the instructions... but you can just skip them by pressing the hand. You eventually find yourself press, press, press, pressing the hand to get where you want to be in a game. I would program it a bit differently in this regard. Getting to the buttons in the back can be a bit cumbersome as it requires you to pull down a velcro flap that is not exactly easy to put back together... but on the other hand, my kid can do it by himself.

As far a durability, I haven't had the detached arm issue come up yet. For a toy that is designed to be dropped on the floor (that's part of one of the games), it holds up pretty well. Overall, I would highly recommend this toy.
