Thought this product was cool based on the pictures and description, but when I got it it was pretty bad. My daughter lost interest very quick as you really couldn't see the designs unless you were in the complete dark but then you can't see what you are doing. Don't waste money on this one.

This is pretty cool, but I wish there was a little more to it.

Yes, it does need to be very dark - but then, the kids think it is cool to sit in the closet... that actually might be its biggest allure.

The kids ask to do it all the time, but there are only 2 phosphorescent sheets. So, it takes them all of 3 minutes per sheet to draw a picture, and then you need to wait for the glow to disappear before you can draw more... so, it is a short lived thing.

We bought this for our five year and it is horrible in quality. We couldn't fit the batteries in after multiple attempts. for the record we are not morons, we have an MD and an MBA between my husband and I). After further investigation, we realized that the battery contacts in the pen were bent. I have written a complaint letter to the company. Anyone who has tried to give a child a toy and then have to deal with the aftermath of it not working, be ware, this toy is not worth it! After our experience with this malfunction, I have done some internet research and found that this is a common complaint amongst purchasers. Very disappointing!

This is a fantastic travel toy! It keeps kids entertained and gives them something to do when it gets dark. Fun for sleepovers or fun right before bed. Unleash kid's creativity with this light writer! Easy to use and you can erase the drawings and start over!

Our daughter received this as a Christmas gift and she absolutely loves it! She is 5 and loves the fact that she can write with a flashlight. The designs fade away after a few minutes allowing her to create more, and it helps her to work on her writing skills as well.

We are very pleased with this item, and have had fun with it ourselves too. We have been able to spend some great family evenings learning about glow-in-the-dark, how it works, and why God provided it for us.
