I first saw sea monkeys advertised in a magazine and I logged on to www.sea-monkeys.com to check 'em out. I soon wanted my own sea monkeys. This kit's the newest from Amazing Live Sea Monkeys, and the only kit that includes the new Tiny Tank Tool. Sea monkeys are extremely fascinating creatures. All you do when you recieve the tank is pour in the water purifier, and then, 24 hours later, you add the instant live eggs. The sa monkeys hatch instantly or over a period of days/weeks, depending on your tank's water temp. and light exposure. Sea monkeys take a few days to be seen to the naked eye, but it's worth the wait! Watch as your sea monkeys grow and reproduce. Individual sea monkeys live up to 6 months, and the circle of life is guarenteed to go on for 2 years! Sea monkeys are extremely easy to take care of- just feed them every 5 days and aerate their tank once a day. It's that easy! You may also use the Aqua Leash to take out a single sea monkey and transfer it to another sea monkey play area (Play Pen, other sea monkey colony, etc. SOLD SEPERATELY).You can also use the Tiny Tank Tool to clean algae off the sides of your tank, while giving your sea monkeys a feast at the same time! The possibilities are endless to how much fun you can have with your sea monkeys. They teach children responsibility and the cycle of life. Shipping is extremely expensive there and the sets cost more money. I recommend this tank if you want the best one. Try to get a set with a tank included-sea monkeys tend to work better in surroundings built for them. Also, I put 4 stars of durabiliy because if the tank gets knocked over, your sea monkeys are goners. Hope this was helpful!

i am happy that this awesome set comes with all you need to start a great family of awesome sea monkeys, considering i have some of my own. these are the best!!!!!! you can actually revive your sea monkeys if they are dead!!!!!! HERES HOW: IF YOUR SEA MONKEYS DIE, DO NOT DISPAIR!!!!! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LET YOUR SEA MONKEY WATER EVAPORATE. THEN, YOU WILL SEE TINY SALT CRYSTALS(OLD WATER PURIFIER), ALSO TINY BROWN EGGS, AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR TANK. THEN FILL YOUR TANK WITH BOTTLED WATER, PUT IT NEAR A WARM, SUNNY WINDOW.... I bought this set for my son's 7th birthday as he has recently become obsessed with sea creatures. He was so excited to have his own little "shrimp" to raise. We hatched them on a Sunday morning and he was disappointed because we couldn't see anything. But by the next day, they were visible with the magnifying glass (you had to look hard, though). On the 2nd day, they were visible without the magnifying glass. Today is the 3rd day since we have hatched them and they are the cutest little things! The look like tiny little white tadpoles almost - fluttering through the water doing flips and swimming in circles. I think I love them even more than my kids! We have 3 dogs and 3 cats, but there is just something endearing about these teeny creatures. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves animals! This is a great set because it comes with the cleaning tool, the million bubble pump and the aqua leash - it's a perfect starter kit! I'm looking forward to getting some more different sets for around the house! The Sea Monkeys website has a lot of other neat things for your new little pets, too!

First of all, I take issue with the claim that this product is for 6-10 year olds. I am a middle-aged executive and have been continuously entertained by my little desktop pets for weeks now. What could be more fun than watching these playful little creatures swim to and fro in a magical underwater paradise fit for a working professional's office?

That said, I do have a few things I have learned from my time with the Sea Monkeys. Some of these may seem like common sense, but as the old lady says, I certainly don't have any of THAT!

#1. Sea Monkeys are not really monkeys. Monkeys are primates that have prehensile tails and opposable thumbs. Real monkeys cannot breathe under water. This bears repeating. REAL MONKEYS CANNOT BREATHE UNDER WATER.

#2. Consequently, as Sea Monkeys are not really monkeys, they do not like to eat bananas. DO NOT PUT BANANAS IN SEA MONKEY EXECUTIVE SET.

#3. Sea Monkeys are totally fun and friendly and curious. You might think that they'd be great friends for your pet goldfish or your pet betta. YOU WOULD BE WRONG.

#4. Sea Monkeys are good listeners. They will keep a secret until they are cold and dead. But don't expect them to actually give you any encouragement or a kind word now and then. It is a one way street with these guys, I'm telling you.

#5. Sea Monkeys are sold as a toy. But Sea Monkeys are living, breathing creatures. And when they die due to your neglect and attempts to get them to play with Goldie your pet fish, their spirits will come back and HAUNT YOU.

#6. Your friends, family, and coworkers may think you are a little too obsessed with your Sea Monkeys. They may not realize that Sea Monkeys are hyperintelligent creatures in a tiny, tiny package. They may not realize that it is rude, in fact, to not have them at the table at dinner time, or to make them sleep downstairs with the dog. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM, THEY ARE WRONG.

Sea Monkeys are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Now that my children are in college, they have given me something new to live for. I'm so excited about my new little family. I will love them forever and ever and ever. I have willed all of my assets to them. My lawyer discouraged this, but he doesn't understand what true love is. He told me so himself.

I've had sea monkeys before that never lasted long. I got this one, and after 6 months they all died. But I completely forgot about the tank, so I never flushed it out. Two weeks went by, and suddenly there were tons of babies! It's happened a few times now, they all die, but after a while, new ones are born. I've had it for a year and a half. So if yours die, try waiting a couple of weeks!

I love my sea monkeys so much! They are so cute! But they are very, very tiny. Do not be sad if you do not see them right away. They are still there even though you can't see them. I began to see them on the second day and you will too! The million bubble air pump is very important because they will die
without air.This set comes with everything you need! I'm going to feed them for the first time tomorrow and I can't wait!I hope you have fun too!

The Executive Sea Monkey kit was exactly as I had imagined. It comes with a black and gold Sea Monkey aquarium and several handy items (including an aerator). My only complaint is that it did not come with a handbook. If you like Sea Monkeys, you won't be disappointed.

Let me first say I've been waiting to own this kit since I was a little kid and didn't have enough allowance to buy it. I'm glad I waited though, because it made me all the happier when it came in the mail yesterday.

The black box with the gold lettering really was impressive and makes it the perfect gift for an adult especially one that could use some stress relief. The acessories are clearly displayed for you when you open up. And for those past non-seamonkey owners you have clear instructions to get you up and going.

You can't go wrong with the 2 year guarantee either. Also, what woman or little girl wouldn't love gold?

I bought two of these. In the past I had the similar tanks that were in blue and the citi view tank and this one is the best by far. You can see the sea-monkeys better and the aquarium looks much nicer.

Someone stated that it didn't come with great directions and they were right. Mine didn't hatch. I sent in the paper and got my replacements very quickly. Turns out the company is from the area I grew up in. Small world I guess. Anyway I will be trying them again soon. I have a friend that has very good luck with them and I will be asking for help. Oh and they sent me better directions with the replacement.
