I used Eggspert for the first time just the other day in my AP Spanish class. It's a very small class of advanced students so discipline is not an issue. I just wanted to spice things up for them a little bit. I created a Jeopardy game with questions using the grammar we have been studying and the students played. They were really excited about it. I am now planning on using it in my lower level, beginning classes to review for tests. To all you teachers out there, I say, "BUY THIS ONE!--It's worth it!"

I purchased this to use during test review for my high school students. They LOVE it! It's worth the money to see their excitement as we review. A must have item for teachers.

Great product,very durable. Makes learning very competitive, but fun. We used it at my parent's 40th anniversary party for a jeopardy game. It was a lot of fun. I also use it with my children who are homeschooled for a variety of school subjects. I use the wheel of fortune for my 2nd grade religion class and church. We play for candy. Well worth the cost. Can be used with batteries-comes with a plug & a built in timer. Have everyone test run their buzzer, so they know it works. It works, but people playing will say their buzzer is broken, it's not -someone else is faster. High schoolers love it too.

I'm so glad I bought this item! The Eggspert buzzer system is something I use often in my classroom. It makes it much easier to play Jeopardy-type games and keep track of who is first. I can even set a time limit for answering a question. My fourth-grade students love Eggspert! I use a PowerPoint file as a Jeopardy game with questions in Vocabulary, Comprehension, Grammar, etc. so we are reviewing key points in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

This is a great alternative to other much more expensive game buzzers. It has plenty of buzzers (6) and it is pretty durable so far. It works exactly like Jeopardy and it also has a random selection mode. It allows you to set a time limit for the contestant to answer the questions (5-20 secs). It also has an AC adapter so you dont have to waste buying AA battiers.

Eggspert was purchased to be used at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. Our intention was to use it to play "Jeopardy". This was a fantastic purchase that didn't let us down. It's easy to use, works like a charm and great fun! I will use this over and over again. Thanks "Wizard of Math" for providing this item. You guys rock!

I purchased the eggspert towards the end of the school year. It is great for any trivia game in any curriculum area. I recommend it for those high tough to call games. It provides order and less arguing over who was first. The cords are adequately long allowing for space between the players and teacher as well as good mobility/spacing. I also like that you can use its adapter or batteries. We used it for our academic bowl during field day. The students loved it. We brought it down to the auditorium and dimmed the lights so the game lights would be more noticeable. The bowl was a hit!! Having the eggspert eased the process of who buzzed in first and made the game progress better. One thing to watch out for is remembering to reset the game after a student buzzes in and says an incorrect answer (the other players can not buzz in until the game has been reset using the teacher's buzzer). A second point would be to inform the players ahead of time that even though they hit the buzzer it doesn't mean they did it first so their light might not illuminate (they kept stating that they hit their buzzer and it wasn't working). Overall, it was a great experience and students as well as teachers were asking me where they could buy an eggspert.

The Eggspert is great for use in both the classroom and home settings. My wife has used it in her school for educational lessons structured in a quiz show format. We have used it at home for parties with Jeopardy games created using Powerpoint. It can be used with up to six single players, or with six teams of players.

The product comes with a base station with six colored egg lights, each of which has a correspondingly colored wired pod which acts as a click buzzer. There is also a control pod for the host which controls the various game modes as to when each round begins, or when players can buzz in to answer. The base station also includes a variable timer so you can place a time limit on answers; it also contains switches to disable each egg/pod if you have less than 6 players/teams.

As stated in the description, the game has two modes - Quiz Show and Wheel of Fortune. The Quiz Show mode allows each player to buzz in using their pod; the fastest person will be the winner and their egg will light, locking out all the others until the host allows others to buzz in. The Wheel of Fortune mode cycles through each colored egg, randomly stopping on one of them.

The product itself is very durable. Especially the pods which are used by the players to 'buzz' in. They are coated in soft rubber and have been dropped on the floor with no problems; obviously designed for use by children. The wires connecting the pods are 10 feet long which was fine for us; just be careful about tripping over them if stretched out across a room. The system runs on either batteries or the included AC adapter, which is great in case you need to place the base station away from an electrical outlet.

Overall a great product. If you are looking to run a home-grown quiz show with kids or adults, you will definitely want to get this!

I teach 4th grade, and my students love this game. We use it with vocabulary and spelling lessons as a way to review the day before their test. They look forward to getting to play. It could also be used to review for tests in other subjects too! I highly recommend it!
