My son started playing this at 3 and still going strong at 5yrs old...he loves it and it's great for his thinking skills.....I love it too and realize how simple and or complex it can be depending on the level...this was our first and we now have 5 of these type of games but the ones from educational insights are our favorites and they are always coming out with more cool puzzle games. And I believe it due due to toys like this that my just turned 5 yrs old is doing 1-2 grade work and loves a challenge! Many praises for this product!

WOW, we are SO impressed with this game! It is a durable, one player game that keeps our kids so focused that they usually ask to do "just one more" when I need them to stop playing. They love the satisfaction of finishing a page and moving on to the next.

There are four levels (starter, junior, expert, master) with 12 puzzles on each level for a total of 48 puzzles. Our 6-year-old feels right at home with the starter level and our 8-year-old loves the challenge of the master level. All nine tiles and the booklet fit into a hidden compartment so everything securely stays together.

Whenever one of our kids is playing this "game" people always stop to ask how to play, where we got it, etc. Cat and Mouse has become one of our "signature" birthday gifts for the 6 to 8 year old crowd!

My 6 year old really loves this game. He will sit still for over 1/2 hour just pouring over the different possible solutions to the puzzles. (Sitting still for 1/2 hour for my kid is some kind of record.) The pieces are nice and durable plastic, and the booklet with the puzzles is on good thick paper. My 60+ year old mother came over last weekend and got absorbed into figuring out the puzzles too. Fun for everyone.

Purchased this toy for a 6-year-old but kids (and adults) that enjoy mind teasers and puzzles will also enjoy this one. It's extremely well-made and sturdy and can provide hours of entertainment for kids who love to solve puzzles. Highly recommended!

My 4.5 year old is really enjoying this game and my husband and I enjoy it as well. The tasks move from very easy to quite difficult, so a wide variety of ages can play. It would be great if the tiles snapped into place, but you can store them in the drawer underneath.

We saw our 6 & 8 year olds playing with this at the library and decided it would be a good Christmas gift. They are both enjoying it. In addition to challenging them, I love that it is quiet, portable and durable! Even on the lower levels that the 6 year old works on, the older one keeps it fun by timing herself.
I will be looking to this company for other toys in the future.

Love the well thought out packaging of this game. Nice sturdy tiles that can be contained with the booklet underneath the game. Would be great to take for a "weekend at Grandma's" but not for a car ride. Difficulty can be adjusted. I have a hard time solving some of the puzzles. My husband gets addicted to it from time to time. My 8 year old likes it, but my 4 year old (whom I bought it for) can find it a little frustrating at times. Younger kids may need some guidance.

I love these logic games that a child can play by themselves. We love board games and play as a family but it's also nice to have a variety of games children can play on their own. This is a favorite! It's fun and teaches thinking and strategy skills.
