We shopped around for a while to find a calendar whiteboard that would work for us. We ended up going with this one, mostly because it had the largest day-squares of any relatively inexpensive calendar whiteboard (if you need one any bigger than this, the price goes up dramatically). The squares on this one are about 2 inches, which is enough to put a few items if you get fine point pens. There's only one pen included with this board. It's black, and it actually doesn't erase very easily, but that's good because if you use it to write the dates in, you can't accidentally erase it while adding schedule items. We bought a set of 4 whiteboard pens to go with it, so everyone can have their own color, and they erase much more easily. One thing that surprised us when we opened the box is that the color-coded squares on the bottom are not color-coded to start with. We assumed, given that the colors neatly matched the four magnets provided, that they would be permanently marked so you could just fill in the meaning on the appropriate line. Unfortunately, you have to do the filling in yourself, which is annoying because most 4-packs of pens don't come with yellow (most are black/red/blue/green). This whiteboard is just a thin piece of metal with a plastic coating on the front, so it's not terribly sturdy. It should get mounted on a wall and left in place (i'm not really sure what else you would do with a whiteboard, but amazon categorizes it as a toy, so maybe i'm missing something).

This calendar is great for teaching young kids about months, weeks, and days. The squares are large, so you have plenty of room to write appointments, such as play dates and soccer practice so kids can look forward to upcoming activities. I ended up drilling holes in ours, and screwing it into the wall studs so that the kids can't pull it down. It's great for educational purposes, but don't expect a professional quality whiteboard/calendar.

This is nice for what it is. It still is probably the best option for the price out there. I did have to return one because the packaging caused little indentations all throughout the calendar. The resent it in the same crap packaging, but it had less indentations. I decided to just accept the two vs the 6 on the previous. More have been created over time and it really has just sat on my wall. I write on it a few times a month, but definitely could be really annoying if you are bothered by those kinds of things. I deal with it, but if I were a little more anal I'd be pissed. Still overall a nice calendar and I don't mean to sound so negative. It does help.

We use this as the calendar hub for our family. Work trips, events at school, family gatherings, etc. We placed it in the central traffic area, so we all know what's going on. I recommend it for this use, or just about anyplace you need a calendar that is visible for everybody involved. The magnetic functionality is very powerful. We also use it to hold papers associated with the events. All around solid product. Would recommend to anyone.

Pros:-It could be use as anything that applies month. In my case, I use it a cooking schedule since I have 3 roommates & we take turn to cook based on this calendar -Attractive & delightful display. People come to my house often ask me about this calendar. -4 magnetic button can be used to indicate there is special occasion on that day. In my case, I use it when we're going out to eat or order food delivery (meaning no one is cooking on that day) -There is actually a small yellow note on the lower roght of the calendar if you want to put extra notes Cons: -4 colorful magnetic button is presented but only 1 black marker is given -No eraser but it's not a big deal, you could use tissue paper |
