Got this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He has had a lot of fun with it and it is educational. For a 7 year old it does require an adult to help them with the projects, but very cool! I recommend this product for kids 6 and up that like science!

I'm sure there are more exciting toys out there. Many of the "tricks" are probably something you could do with things around the house. But the question is... would you? I wouldn't. It's all here in a kit. He took it in his room and holed up and had a blast with it. Then he came out and showed me every single trick in the kit and that was even more fun. He really liked it. He's into science and inventing things. It's not the most amazing toy on Earth but I think it was well worth the money for how much fun he had with it, even if it's not necessarily ALL that special if you break it down.
