Pros: love that they have a place to grip. My kindergartners use these for word work, and they can clearly see the letters without making a huge mess. The case has a labeled spot for each letter/punctuation mark, allowing for easy storage and cleanup. Letters are a nice size.

Cons: The only one is pretty big- this is not a complete set of letters. There are two "o" and "i" stamps, and no "r" or "j." I had to buy another set of letter stamps from a craft store to be able to keep these in a center. I can still use them, but I would have liked to been able to get another of the same set, but didn't want to run the risk of not getting all letters again.

This is such a great product. I bought this for my 4-year-old niece. She is learning to spell and she love arts and crafts. She loves them to use these and her parents love them because it shows her the correct placement of letters on kindergarten paper.

I am also a special education teacher and can't wait to oder some for my classroom. I have worked with a few students who struggle with the fine motor skill of writing and it is holding them back in learning to spell. This would definitely help! It is unlike anything I have ever seen: they are clear so the students work on correct spacing, the rubber is only on the letter so there is no ink box around the letter, and punctuation marks (period, comma, question mark, and exclamation mark) are included for sentence creation.

I used to have wooden letter stamps for my classroom, but even my third graders confused which way to turn the letters. With these the students can see how and where to place each letter. It's great for spelling practice or difficult vocabulary words. Hands-on manipulatives such as these really increase students' learning experiences.

These stamps are great for my first grade classroom. They have been using them during learning station time to practice new words for the week (spelling words, sight words, etc). They are small, which is great for little hands. I do wish the box they are stored in was a bit bigger. The kids have a hard time putting them away correctly and making them fit into the little boxes. Overall, great product for kids.

I bought this set for my classroom. It did its job of stamping letters onto papers. There is only one big problem that annoys me. It takes time to put each letter back in its rightful place. Using these with Kindergartners-2nd graders is chaos. It's hard to see where to put each letter. It's also a pain to look at each stamp and figure out what letter it is. Would have preferred a better labeled and possibly larger set. It's not horrible, but if you're using it in a similar situation, I'd recommend something else.

I am a first grade teacher and bought these for my kiddos to use for practicing spelling words. They are easy to handle and stamp well. They have held up well to a year of use. My frustration came, though, after my students used the stamps the first time. I chose a purple ink because 1- purple is fun and 2- it was on sale. The purple ink made the "see-through" part of the stamps completely unusable. It is hard to figure out the letters by looking at them- they are backwards- so I tried to use a permanent marker on the little "handle" part so the kids could easily figure out which stamp was which letter. The marker rubbed off in about 3 uses. So I had to use a white circle sticker (dot label) and re-label each letter. The other frustration is that the little boxes the stamps are supposed to fit in are made for each stamp. So the 'm' won't fit in the 'j' spot. I understand why- but if you can't tell what letter the stamp is, how are you supposed to keep them in order?? There is a TINY letter at the bottom of each box, but the ink covered it up very quickly. Great stamps- needs some work on functionality. Especially if they are to be used by young children.

I have 5 sets for classroom centers where my 4-5 year old (kindergarten prep) can use them to stamp their vocabulary words. It helps them with letter recognition. We don't use it at the beginning of the year because it's difficult for 4 year olds to know which way letters go, but now that it's the end of the year they do pretty well with it.
