The text for this 10th edition is identical to the 9th edition. The only difference is in the MyLabSchool resource. The 9th edition has its own resources, which are contained on a CD. If you need to buy this book for a class, save your money and buy the 9th edition.

This is a good textbook, easy to read. The flashcards in the accompanying web link is useful in studying for tests.

I forgot to put my apartment number in my address so they sent the package pack. Thrifty-peanut was kind enough to resend the package to the correct address. I was highly satisfied with their customer service and the book I purchased is in great condition.

This is a great book. It describes, in detail, contemporary issues within the education field and how teachers can and should, positively handle emotional, psychological, and family issues. This includes various cultural and familial issues that are brought into the public school setting, including preschool settings.

This textbook is a great tool for teachers. It was recommended to me by a more experienced teacher, and so I sought to by it. I am glad that I did. The text is easy to relate to, and enjoyable to read.

Although I did not use the 10th edition due that it was delivered to a neighbor, I borrowed a 9th edition that is similar. It was an excellent resource for teaching. It has practical guidelines for class prep, updated guidelines for students with disabilities and much much more. I highly recommend this book for teachers of all levels. You may not be taking this class; Educational Psychology, the book is practical to use throughout a school year.

This book came new,however, I guess it is my fault not knowing what my lab series is. I saw that the book is paperback, but i assumed it would at least be bound.For those who are just returning back to college after 7 years for grad school, just know this book will have to be put in a binder.On the flip side it is whole punched already for you. Other than this, very smooth transaction and fast shipping. Great seller-Thanks!

Book was a little beat up, but still in good enough shape to use. Shipping was quick.
