Got this toy for our daughter when she was 14 months old. She really did not care for it at first. But in 1-2 weeks she developed a strong interest in it. She really likes pictures on the blocks. We started to play a search game with this toy. Basically we ask her to find things on the spinning blocks. We look for simple shapes like zebra, apple, truck. This toy has other more complex pictures like birds nest that can be interesting for older kids. Some time we make this game harder by turning pictures away and she seems to like the challenge. She really enjoys this toy and frequently brings it to us to play this search game. Over all this is a really cute toy and it has really great developmental value. We like to read books and this toy is another calm interactive activity that lets us play together. Hopefully when she is learning the alphabet and numbers she will still like this toy.

I bought this toy for my son, now 20 months old. He is mildly interested in it now, but I look forward to seeing how his interaction with it changes as he gets a little older. I was originally looking for a regular abacus, as I thought he would enjoy moving the beads back and forth. But when I saw this, I was excited by the fact that it has letters, numbers, and pictures. We have done some sign language, and I thought it might be a good way to learn more signs and practice the ones we already know. The quality is great. He has been pretty rough with it, and caused no damage. (For some reason he likes to turn it on its side and sit on it like a horse.) I only wish it was a little bit bigger, so the blocks would actually move more like a regular abacus. Very cute. I think it is very worth the price.

I thought this toy would be great for learning the alphabet and I was right. The toy is just the right size for toddler hands and not so small that the letters and pictures are lost. The toy is colorful and sturdy.
My daughter (22 months) has a great time spinning the "beads" and naming the objects and animals pictured. She doesn't know the full alphabet yet but we have a great time saying all the letters and naming the pictures together.

This is a very cute toy, but it is very small. It's my fault for not checking the dimensions before I bought it, I really thought it would be much larger. When it arrived I couldn't believe how small it was. As cute as it may be, I will most likely be returning it because something this tiny should not cost $25.

I was really not sure how much fun my son would have with this toy and I was worried about it being too small. He is 16 months old and loves to spin the tiles and find specific items. It does not hold his attention for too long without someone to play with but he really enjoys it and will sit and name the items he recognizes for a good while. I would absolutely buy it again and it is the perfect size for him.

It's a nice looking toy. However, it doesn't really interact so the kids haven't found it fascinating at all. It just sits in our house as a decorative item, untouched, really.

Happy with this purchase. Its a well made toy. And thank goodness the pictures are not obsure choices for that alphabet. For example i have seen toys with W for wedge and G for gate(which looks like fence). Only flip side is the toy is not as big as its pictured(but its true to the dimensions specified). My lil one like it and is already identifiying most of the pictures

I was inspired to get this toy for my 18 month old because she enjoyed it so much in the pediatrician's waiting room. We sing the abc's to it, she names the objects pictured and she loves it! My favorite part is that all the pieces are attached and can't be lost! I wish all games were self-contained like this one. It is a nice open-ended toy that we can play differently each time we pick it up.

I bought this for my 9-month old neice, and her parents were thrilled! They had seen this toy in a high-end children's boutique for much more than the Amazon price (so high that they decided not to buy it). This toy encourages the baby to interact with its flipping pieces and gives her some familiarity with the alphabet. And it does all of this with no annoying noises or lights! I would buy this again.

My 15 month old son loves this toy. We purchased it a few months ago and now he knows most of the pictures and letters. He loves to spin the little cubes and point at the pictures. Hours of fun and it's very educational. He has also thrown it around the house and climbed on it, no marks or damage.
