This is a favorite toy in our home. I look for toys that are going to last a long time and survive several children playing with them. I look for toys that will grow with a child. I want a toy that will not just have a button to push to make it do something. I want a toy that will encourage creativity and exploration of the world around us. These musical instruments meet these criteria I believe. The kids love to explore the different sounds and make music. We play music on the radio and get our instruments out and dance and march and make music. My son got these several years ago. We have three kids playing with these toys now and they have gotten quite a work out. They look brand new and still have lots of fun left in them. Well worth the money. Enjoy.

I got these for my 1 1/2 year old son, who was instantly intrigued by them. He is now 2 and still loves these instruments. We play with them when listening to music or when watching videos with music in them. It has helped him with rhythm. He loves to explore the different sounds each instrument makes. And they are durable. Your child must have these!

My little musicians give these instuments a good workout and they are still in great shape. They really enjoy them and love having their own instruments to play. I highly recommend them for a child who enjoys music.

My eight-month-old daughter really loves these instruments! We bought them when she was about four months old, but when she picked them up she'd often clunk her head with them when she tried to wave them around. I brought them back out when she was six months old and had a lot more arm control. Now she really goes wild with them, especially the bells!

My daughter received these instruments as a gift last Christmas and took to them right away. She was six months old at the time and they were easy for her to hold and shake to create the sounds. We have lots of toys that make noise but these were some of her favorites, just the right colors, size and shape with just the right sounds! She has turned one now and still gets lots of enjoyment from these toys. They really encourage musical creativity in even the youngest of children.

We bought this toy for our 10 month old daughter, who just love to make noise with anything. She also loves to stick things in her mouth because she's teething. One day, she was trying to stick the shaker with the bells in her mouth. the metal from one of the bells cut her lip! We let her play with the other ones still, but the one with the bells is put away at least until she's older!

We really like these toys and we like to take them with us when we travel. My daughter also has the Drum/ Music Set by Parents Magazine which she actually likes better. But these are great to use and encourage musical skills with your children. They are easy to listen to and are very durable.

Best Small Toy Purchase,

I bought this set for my baby when she was 6 month's old and they quickly became her favorite. She has a box full of small toys/rattles but she always ends up grabbing for one of these. I like how flat they are which makes it easy to tuck one into a small diaper bag so she can have musical entertainment when we're on the go. My baby is approaching 1 year and still is intrigued by them. I anticipate years of fun with this toy. A great purchase!

Seeing a 1 year old little girl playing these instruments is hysterical! My niece absolutely loved them. She had such an easy time handling them because they are her size, which is unusual. All other instrument toys are so much larger and it's hard for them to hold on to them while trying to play them! The smiles and giggles are worth everything!
