Nice bright colors.

Firm enough to provide stability for walking, but soft enough to provide a little cushioning for minors trips and falls.

These are SMALL pieces and he could have easily choked on them.

I bought this with the 26 pieces letter ones for my 10 month old. They look really cute but the little pieces tend to fall off if pressed (I put them on the carpet). I have to put them at places where baby do not usually go. If you have carpet I would recommend the letters and numbers.

I purchased this mat for my son at four months old. When I first opened it, it had a sharp chemical smell that took a month to dissipate. After that, it served its purpose well. Was enough for baby to roll around on. He turned nine months old yesterday and is just now starting to teeth. He figured out how to pull edges off the mat (sold separately) three days ago. He likes to chew on them. Today, I left him on the mat (playing with some other toys), turned around to write an email and one minute later he had taken apart the little car tile (please look at it close up one your screen) and had one of the wheels in his mouth. These are SMALL pieces and he could have easily choked on them. The eye of the seal is even smaller and more of a choking hazard.

This is a very dangerous mat. Please reconsider your purchase.

I was given this for my newborn on hardwood floors; bad idea. I don't remember toxic smell, but many of the pieces are choking hazards. Otherwise it is what you'd expect. Perfect puzzle for older babies who no longer put things in their mouths.

I bought this for my 8 month old who is starting to crawl. he quickly figured out how to take the pieces out. I am concerned that some of these pieces (for example the eyes of the animals or the car headlights) may be small enough to cause a chocking hazard. Also, I don't know why there are 10 squares instead of 9 or 12. perhaps it's just an extra piece.

I purchased these for my 6 month old to have a place to sit and play instead of on our hardwood floors. He loves the shapes and colors and the pieces are soft so when he does fall over it's not so painful. I highly recommend these although you need at least 2 packs.

Perfect size for my one year old grandson. Not only is he getting a nice quality mat to play on, the shapes come apart and put together like mini puzzles so it's teaching him shapes, colors and problem solving!

If you have a baby and your floors aren't already cluttered enough, why not add some color with these tiles? Really, these tiles are fun, and somewhat absorb the shock of a baby who topples over.
