Cute, but NOT "large",

This toy box is every bit as cute as it looks in the picture. It's bright and fun and my son loves it instantly. My only complaint is that when I unfolded it, I thought I had mistakenly ordered the medium size. The dimensions are correct, but if you're like me you don't actually look at a ruler to determine the size. I thought large meant large and the pic of the little girl sitting beside it was what I used for judging the size. That must be a small little girl is all I have to say. I still think it was a worthwhile purchase, but it isn't going to hold anywhere near as many toys as I had hoped.

Nice to look at, but not durable enough for the $$$,

Like I wrote on my other review of the medium ones: oh, how I wanted to love these fabric bins! The colors are whimsical & bright, and the larger size is great for us - big enough for books & balls & trucks & stuff. But there's nothing supporting the bottom of the box, except a flimsy piece of fabric. Every, single time my little guy tries to pick up the bin, the bottom falls out & the sides collapse. These desperately need to be improved, with a piece of cardboard or fiberboard shaped & stitched on the bottom between two pieces of cloth. They're okay if you're not going to move them around at all; but if you have a "helper" who likes to drag stuff around, these just don't cut it.

This is as cute as I expected it to be. The colors are very vibrant--this is a good thing. It is soft enough that I do not worry that my daughter's rough with it or around it.... and light enough that she can drag it around with her. I was concerned about how it would stay upright... the plastic clip. It took me a couple of days to figure out what the clips were for--it is to keep the box from collapsing. Simple but nice touch.

Oh, how I wanted to love these fabric bins! The colors are bright & fun, and the medium size is great for the bajillion and six toy cars and blocks my son has collected. But there's nothing supporting the bottom of the box, except a flimsy piece of fabric. Every, single time he tries to pick up the bin, the bottom falls out & the sides collapse. They desperately need to be improved, with a piece of cardboard or fiberboard shaped & stitched on the bottom between two pieces of cloth.

So, we have toys. A lot of toys. Too many toys, some would say. And the toddler, he tends to spread the toys. So we needed a toy box. This one has been great. It's cute, I don't hate looking at it in our living room, it's actually pretty fun and cheery. The fabric sides mean that the toddler can reach into the box and easily grab what he wants (we have a plastic box elsewhere for...more toys...and that one is harder for him to negotiate). When we're leaving for work in the morning, I'm pretty happy with this box, as we're frantically throwing in all the toys so the dog doesn't eat them. This was a good purchase for us.

I bought this box and the large version to store all of our baby toys. I wanted something fun and easy to store toys from for my one year old twins. These boxes have been great! The medium is great for books and the larger one holds a lot of smaller toys. I wish they had sturdy bottoms for easier movement but they work great for our needs.

Does its job,
This review is from: Edushape Large Pop-Up Fabric Toy Box (Baby Product)
We keep our baby's toys in this box. It does its job and the fabric is bright and colorful. The sides are pretty flexible, which could be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for. I like it because I can "shove" more toys in and not worry about scratching anything (toy or box). The handles are nice for moving it around to clean. Overall, it was a good purchase.

The item just arrived and I can't wait for my baby to play with it(she is sleeping). The colors look exactly as described and they are so much fun in person. I was looking for something to dump the daily toy mess in so it works perfectly for me. I was not looking for a sturdy toy chest as my baby is still exploring and needs something soft so she can play with it as well. the bottom is just one layer of cloth so might not work for heavy items. It is very large and fits all her toys currently.

I was skeptical at first of this box because some reviewers said it was too small. Well it holds all my sons' small balls and bats and they have many. It was bought to replace a 'toy hamper' I had for awhile that fell apart. This toy box is sturdy and holds up even with all that is in it. It is definitely worth getting.

This box is very cute and works well for a place to put my sons toys. However, it is a lot floppier than I expected. Don't buy it if you plan on putting stuff in it and packing it around. It is better for just leaving in one place. I do really like the way it looks.
