a bit bummed by this product actually. By the look of the picture I expected to get 5 times as many blocks. Now that I have it, it's clear that there were at least 4 packs of blocks used in this picture.

also, the blocks aren't cut well, the edges are scalloped/warped on many edges making stacking particularly difficult. I mean, they're blocks, you don't need to get that much right to be good.

Although these blocks are made of foam, they are very sturdy. My daughter (15 months), has chewed on them, stepped on them, thrown them, and generally mistreated them, but there isn't a mark on them. They are a great toy for toddlers. Her 3- and 6-year-old cousins enjoy them, too.

The colors and textures are a fun touch, and because the blocks are so lightweight, nobody gets hurt when they are thrown.

Don't let the picture fool you, you only get 20 blocks but they are really nice. Good textures on them and the material its made from makes it safe for little ones learning to balance. My 3 1/2 year old has also enjoyed them. I'm very happy with them.
