Show your class that electrophoresis separates molecules on the basis of size and charge. A safe, colorful, fast and simple way to teach the technique which will engage your students. Kit includes: instructions and Ready-to-Load dye samples for 24 gels. All you need: electrophoresis apparatus and power supply. EDVO-Kit 101-C contains dye samples ready for electrophoresis sufficient for twenty-four (24) agarose gels with the use of an automatic micropipet. A: Orange, B: Purple, C: Red, D: Blue 1, E: Dye Mixture, F: Blue dye mixture (Blue 1 + Blue 2), Practice gel loading solution, 100ml Plastic graduated cylinder (packaging). Experiment components include enough sample for 24 gels if you are using an automatic micropipet for sample delivery. Use of transfer pipets will yield fewer gels. Reagent quantities are based upon the use of Horizontal gel electrophoresis apparatus, Model M12 and sample volumes aliquoted at 40 �l each.
