This book, by Robert Lawson, is an excellent tale about the education of young Edward Rabbit. Father Rabbit and his friend Mr. Beaver teach Edward and his compatriots values and the importance of friendship. The humorous antics will keep young readers, or listeners, in stitches. Lawson's beautiful black and white illustrations add to the nostalgia of the book.
