Sociology, history, politics, economics, finance of the Jamaican society is laid out forcefully in these volumes through the lenses of Edward Seaga 1930-2008. These volumes are meant to educate. I was curious to read what the past Prime Minister/Minister of Finance looking out into Jamaica from his perch, what was he thinking in those tumultuous years 1976 - 1981. Scholarly written, compelling documentary, strongly recommended reading. A must for the Jamaican community, especially if you resided in Jamaica in the 70s & 80s under democratic socialism.
