5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Profile Of One Of America's Finest Designers., October 20, 2002

This review is from: Edward Wormley: The other face of modernism : an exhibition of mid-century furniture designs, February 20 to March 16, 1997 at the Lin-Weinberg Gallery, 84 Wooster Street, New York City (Paperback)
The collaborators on this comprehensive tribute to Edward Wormley have obviously put their heart and soul into this literary work. Edward Wormley was one of the special few. Without the research behind this book.. many future furniture designers and mid-century furniture fans would have been unable to hear the story of Edward and his find work at Dunbar.

Buy this book... it will be something to cherish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book On A True Modern Thought Leader, October 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Edward Wormley: The other face of modernism : an exhibition of mid-century furniture designs, February 20 to March 16, 1997 at the Lin-Weinberg Gallery, 84 Wooster Street, New York City (Paperback)
Extremely thoughtful and comprehensive presentation on the life and times of a noted Modern Design Icon, Edward Wormley.

His fresh unpretentious approach to style and furniture desgin is refreshing and much needed in an often complex world. This book is often out-of-print.

Like his classic designs for Dunbar furniture - this book will probably fall into the category of an American Modern design collectible...

Enjoy!
