I'm very pleased with the eel skin flip fold wallet. It's light and thin, and I like the three extra credit cards slots on the back of the ID flap. The leather seems to be very thin and is softening up nicely. It's well made and stitched. Time will tell how well the eel skin leather wears.

The shipping was reasonable, and very fast. The wallets arrived in only three days.

I have had the very same wallet for over 6 years and it has been the best wallet I have ever owned. I usually go throw wallets once a year, so I can say these wallets last. I am very hard on my wallet because of the type of work that I do. I am so glad I found the same wallet I am buying 2 right away. People always want to feel my wallet beacause it looks and feels so smooth, and they are fascinated by the fact that it is made of Eel. Buy one you won't regret it.

Replaced worn-out ell-skin wallet that I had used for fifteen years. Calfskin usually does not last me more than a year. Good design.

I ordered this wallet without reeaaallyy knowing what I was in for. I guess I figured $12 was a reasonable price for a wallet, and if the wallet's as great as some of these reviewers say, I'll be happy!

I just received it today, and I must say it was a great surprise. See, Amazon had told me to expect this item to arrive any time between tomorrow and next week. Therefore, you can imagine my excitement when it arrived this morning! hurriedly opened it, skimmed through the "quality assurance-this product is guaranteed awesome and we killed NO endangered species to make it" card, [though I must say was semi-impressively free of grammatical and spelling errors], and began the process of wallet-migration. That being said. Here I am, writing my first review EVER. That's right, I was so satisfied I actually felt compelled to write a review. I am loving this wallet, and the shipping surprise was very pleasant. The wallet itself is very classy looking, soft, and just feels.. nice. The only things I am worried about it that while the seller claims Eelskin gets better with time, from the feeling of the wallet I think there may be some truth to what a small percentage of the prior reviewers have said. Hopefully they [and I] are wrong, and this excellent wallet will last me a while. And it's got tough shoes to fill, because my last wallet was a stingray skin, and that thing is a beast. You can beat that thing up all you want, because i guarantee the leather lining inside WILL deteriorate before the stingray skin EVER breaks.

All in all, great product, EXCELLENT shipping time. Now if only i could've saved $6 with prime... Then I'd be a happy man. *chuckles*

I bought two, one as a gift and one for my back pocket. It works. My credit cards fit. No unpleasant odor. I would call it a good buy with no unpleasant discoveries upon delivery which I can say was as promised.

Let me start by saying I have been looking off and on for 10 years for this wallet. Years ago, I was visiting Seattle and found a similar wallet at a shopping center down by the water. I loved it, best wallet I ever owned, soft, strong and attractive. However, a few years later, my dog also fell in love with it, and ate it. Saw this, price was right and tried it. Excellent... just like I remembered, quality product, lots of places for cards. May order another one ( I have a new dog).

Has the feel of a smooth stingray for those who have been to Sea World petting pond with many sleeves for CC, all together with a classy look.

I ordered the tri-fold eel skin wallet sold on Amazon and it was way too small. More than 2 credit cards and it wouldn't even fold over. This one is larger, yet thinner (one fold), credit cards fit easily, and they are loose enough to pull in & out. My old leather wallet used to gunk up the credit cards & license window with (I guess) leather tanning stuff. So far no rub offs from the eel skin, but time will tell. The workmanship & quality look to be excellent, but time will tell on that too. However, for the price, design & butt friendliness, I give this wallet 5 stars.
