This review is from: Effective Contract Administration: The Complete Handbook and Guide (Paperback)
The book is published in a binder form and costs $95,- For this money the readers would be entitled to a detailed and practical guide, usable in their work and a source to refer to. Unfortunately the book is quite superficial, too verbose and not even clearly presented. Its major defect is that in fact it says very little about contract administration itself, that is the work the contract administrator does after the contract is signed and until it is completed. There is very little on how to deal with the other contractual party, what problems occur and how to handle them. There are some parts which are clearly irritating, for instance : Part 10. Title: What is a claim? The author says : "Some think this, other think that. In fact there are many types of claims", and does not answer the question he himself asks in the title.Definitely not value for money. |
