As a registered nurse back in school for her BSN, this book has been a wonderful resource. I would highly recommend it! This is one book that I have added to my nursing library.

If you are looking to learn about every last detail of business management then this is the book for you. It breaks it down so far it is ridiculous. I pitty the people who have this as a required text, it is a tough read.

This is a required text but parts of it seem simplistic and other parts seem to offer advice on how to follow the letter of the law when dealing with employees. Definitely represents a corporate management view when addressing dealing with employees.

If you're interested in management of Nursing, this is a great book to have.

I had to purchase it as a requirement for a nursing course (management ta-da!) and was pleasantly surprised.

It's easy to read, has useful real-world application information (does that make sense?), and isn't ridiculously long.

This book is well organized and not too lengthy while still providing a lot of information. I needed this text for a class and was pleased at how well the information flows and how easy it was to read.

If you are new to nurse management, this book is a great basic reference to have on the shelf.

This is a great book. It is easy to read. It comes with an online companion to the book so it can supplement the readings. I also love the fact that at the beginning of each chapter there is a little box that tells you the exact definitions you need to focus on in the chapter. It makes it so easy to study. Highly recommended book. Plus it not intimidating like a lot of other nursing books.

I purchased this book for my health care management class for Nursing and I have never been so frustrated with a book before. First, the book is written in a format for people who are already introduced for business (being a nursing major puts you out of the loop to begin with). Most of the students in my class and myself agree the book strays from topic to topic and there are points where the grammar is off. Confusing is an understatement for this book. My friends and I spend more time attempting to try and figure out what the author is trying to say half the time rather than just studying. Every book my school has encouraged us to buy has been wonderful EXCEPT THIS ONE. I can't believe a school would recommend this for us. Confusing, flow strays off topic several times. VERY disappointed.
