This is a great book if your just getting into business, however if you already know the basics you may want to try something a little deeper. There are quite a few questions this book just won't answer so make sure you go to class. As a supplement to in class lectures and hands on study you will be able to gain alot from reading this text. It offers alot of valuable information in an easy to understand format. I hope you like reading though because it tends to get a little dry.

This book is an awesome read. It will cover most of the mistakes that small business owners tend to make. I have never been so impressed by a text book. This text is an easy read and you will walk away enlightened and heavily equipped to start your own business. Depending on your level of education and experience, you may be able to skip a few topics, but this book will come in handy for any business owner at any level. This book has blessed me beyond words.

I recently used this book for an online class I was taking at a local community. I regret not taking enough business classes while in college. This books is full information. If you pace yourself and read the chapters you'll know alot. You'll learn how to do business valuations, cash flow management etc. It assumes you have little business experience and gives you years of business school experience. I know as much or more then most business majors I stay in contact with when I graduated.

Compared to the previous version, this has removed the kinks or maintaining a good flow. You'll also learn the basics to a business plan and how to do real financial projections. This will make a contractor or small store owner; very powerful at growing and managing their business. I'm so glad I took this course that required the 9th version of the text. The previous class used the 8th and had problems comprehending the process and how to build off of things. The ninth is the best.

As the President and CEO of FranchiseInterviews.com, I have read many books relating to entrepreneurship. I think the authors did a fantastic job at writing this book. They use many examples and cases to help you easily understand the topics.

I highly recommend this book for aspiring entrepreneurs as well as schools that offer a program in entrepreneurship.

This book is the prescribed textbook for a small business management unit I am taking at university. I have just read the first two chapters, and I must say it is written very well. The author comes across as down to earth, and the contents is motivational and easy to read.
I highly recommend this book for those with a desire to make a break from the shackles of working for a corporation, and not only want to be their own boss, but to also make a stack of cash along the way.

This book is great its a easy read.i am taking a small business course and this book is prefect. You dont have to assume what they are talking about you can understand it without the complex wording. I recommend this book to anyone looking to start there own business. The step by step guide on how to open and establish your business is really good.

My school had the 8th edition listed for this semester up until about a week ago then changed it to 10th. (After I bought the 8th of course.) $5 for the 8th, $100 for this. Very upset, unexpected expense. Really how much new info and breakthroughs in running a small business effectively have there been in the past 7 years for there to be not one but two rewrites. They really like to abuse and price gouge the school system.

This was the book that I really needed for school. I just recently started college after 13 years of graduating high school. Cheap prices and easy to find college textbooks are my main concern and Amazon allowed me to find everything I needed. I plan to search Amazon first prior to any other website for all my college needs!!! Thanks for all your help!
