I would highly recommend this book to anyone involved in supply teaching(Or relief teaching,as it is called where I live.In other places it's known as 'emergency teaching'.)
Bill Rogers has an excellent understanding of the issues involved in being a temporary teacher.This book details them and provides extremely practical advice. Bill has written quite a few books which focus on managing student behaviour.In my view his writing on the subject is unmatched,because of the effectiveness of the strategies he outlines. I would confidently say that this short book would be of benefit to anyone involved in temporary teaching. |
