Those suffering from Hypertension and its effects should study this book. Coming from a great source, the Bihar School of Yoga, and its great history of accredited doctors ie. Sivananda, Satyananda and many more, you are most likely to find some relief within this book. The author discusses, indepth, the scientific and medical causes of how Hypertension occurs, what feeds the problem and how the physical brain, the mind and body respond in such a state of crisis; and gives you (for those who need scientific proof) biographies throughout to put you at ease. As the text progresses the infinate system of Yoga is introduced and the reader is educated on how to overcome this disease with these marvelous techniques. Being a sufferer of Hypertension for many years, I can honestly say how these books and the information contained within has completely changed me for good. I no longer suffer from asthma, from horible digestion and from the depression that has held me in their grip for so long.

You will not get the supposed dogmatic practices said to accompany Yoga, but a system that can get you to the root of the cause and change the way you live for better. Enjoy.
