I bought three of these black-encased NP-20 batteries as spares for my grandchildren's three Casio EX-S600 cameras. Their electrical performance appears to be fine, but once inserted into the cameras they cannot be removed by ordinary means. I had to use a knife and a pair of pliers to get them out. The two OEM batteries and one different brand of aftermarket battery with a white cover and a blue band at the bottom just pop out. The seller has offered to refund my purchase price but not the shipping charges -- so my refund would be less than the cost of sending them back. Clever marketing, lousy product.

06-17-09 update. Two months after the purchase I received an email from the company. In what may be a change of policy, they offered to refund the original shipping charge as well as the purchase cost. I informed them that I no longer have the batteries because they were of no use to me, so I can't return them. They then offered to refund the shipping cost and have since done so. If this is something all buyers can rely on, I would change my rating to 4 stars. Still not 5 -- that would be reserved for getting it right the first time -- but a full refund for defective or mislabeled merchandise is a good policy.

I bought this as an extra battery for my mission trip to Sierra Leone, West Africa. Ten days and 300 pictures later and it was still going strong.

I bought this battery to keep as a backup so I can just swap battery's when one went dead. It lasts nearly as long as the OEM battery that came with my casio Z77. Great price and convenient to have.

I needed a new battery for my Casio EX-S600; this camera uses a Casio NP-20 Lithium Ion 3.7V 700mAh battery.

I ordered the $3.84 battery because I read several reviews where people had difficulty removing the $1.20 battery from the camera - a tight fit in the camera. I hedged my bets.

I ordered both batteries from BargainCell; both batteries arrived today, March 16, 2010, five days after placing my order.

The batteries I received are identical. The brand name on the batteries is GT Max; Battery Pack CANP-20 3.6V Li-ion. There are no mA/h rating on the batteries.

I wondered whether these batteries would be a tight fit so I took some measurements of the original battery and the two replacements.

The original Casio battery measured 0.178" thick by 1.279" wide by 1.942" long.

The $1.20 and $3.84 batteries measured almost identical: 0.162" thick by 1.265" wide by 1.945" long.

The $1.20 and the $3.84 battery each installed easily into the camera and popped out for easy removal when ejected downward. Both batteries charged in the camera in a couple hours.

I just received the batteries and cannot comment on performance and lifetime. Thus the four star rating

I recommend the $1.20 battery.

I have the exact problem. The label is thicker, therefore the battery can not pop out. Yes, twizer and knife would work but that may not be available all the time when you are in the field. Peeling off the label would work, thus revealing the metal case of the battery, but that would creat an electrical short sometimes. You may have to find a new camera then. I had tried to put 5 mils kapton tape to cover the metal battery case but it would not pop out again. Therefore, the battery is somewhere 0-10 mils thicker than the OEM part. Cheap battery, we get what we paid for.

Charged quickly and is working reliably for our Casio Exilim EX-Z75 camera. Very satisfied with the company from whom I ordered it: battery arrived right on schedule.

I bought two of these and received silver ones. They fit my Casio Exilim EX-Z60 well, and the stock charger too. I'll only update this review if the battery life is below/above expectation.

I read the reviews about the batteries getting stuck but I bought it anyways because I'm cheap, that was my mistake. When I got the battery, I stuck it in my camera and what do you know...it wouldn't come out. I took some tweezers and started to pull it out, it wouldn't budge and after 1/2 an hour of pulling... I saw smoke. When I finally managed to get the battery out, my cousin told me the battery melted and that my camera is screwed.

*The positive side, I got a full refund and shipping included.

Bought several of these when the OEM battery died in my oldest daughter's Exilim (we all have the same model) - fits perfectly, and lasts just as long as OEM - and can you believe the price?

These batteries are great. I have had them for two months now and cannot tell a difference from my Casio battery at all. I am very happy with this product and definitely recommend it.
