When it comes to optical audio, the lights are either "on" or "off." You can not get better or worse audio quality by purchasing expensive cables. The only recommendation I have is that you might want to purchase a slightly longer one. I was surprised by how short a distance 3 ft. really feels! Enjoy your Surround Sound!

This cable works great. It snaps in perfectly fine, and plays sound. What else do you want it to do? If you do not like the cable then go to Best Buy and spend $30-$50 on the same thing, but in a fancier package. I will tell everyone I know to buy one if they are in the market!!

I purchased this wire to provide a connection between my new flat screen TV and my older wireless headphones - seems to provide great sound so far.

I had no problems with this optical cable, which I used to deliver digital audio from an HDMI TV Tuner to my Onkyo AV receiver. Please don't pay any more. Shipping was very fast.

I wasn't expecting much quality due to the low cost of this cable. I was very surprised by the value this cable offers.

While the cable isn't fancy, it is of fairly good quality. It snaps into the Toslink socket and provides good performance. I'm very pleased with the cable and see no reason to spend more on higher priced cables that offer purely cosmetic differences.

The cable works very well and I will purchase more for connecting the HDTV and amplifier in my bedroom.

Works as expected; good sound quality. For the price it is excellent. I plugged mine in between my satellite receiver and my A/V receiver and left it -- I would probably want something with sturdier tips if I were plugging and unplugging on a regular basis; e.g. laptop usage. But this one is certainly sturdy enough for my use. I would recommend this product for any fixed system.

It was a nice cable until I unplugged it and the end of the cable stayed in my motherboard on my computer. For the month or two it worked it had good sound quality, just don't expect it to last you to long when you plug it in or unplug it more than a few times.

When you first try to connect these cables you might think they do not fit. You really have to insert them firmly as they are a very tight fit. Once you get them connected they work great at a great price.

You can't really go wrong with optical audio cables. They either deliver the signal or not. These deliver the signal. Nice cable, nice sound.
