It really helps me with my hipache, I am pregnant and this foam mattress help me to sleep a lot better, the only thing is that I am not sure this is 3 inches thickness, it doesn't look like it.

First of all, their shipping was turbo speed. I ordered on a Thursday before fathers day and they delivered it on Saturday! I was shocked; it saved me from putting a pic of it in a card for dad. Thanks! As for the product itself, it is very good. My father loves it; very comfortable he says. I just thought it was about $5 overpriced. No biggie.

I bought this prodctfor use by a family member who is bedridden. This is ideal to prevent bed sores, and to provide greater comfort. The foam is durable and retains its shape fairly well. Best if used over a firm bed. Air out the mtress pad for a few hours after removing from packaging, and no smells remained. We used it over a firm bed, and laid a soft rubber sheet and regular cotton sheets over it, yet it retained its function. Would highly recommend for ailing individuals who need to be on the bed for long periods of time.

I was under the impression that it was thicker. I am very happy with it although it took longer to get here then projected by the seller.

Both my large dogs developed hip and/or knee joint problems in their senior years, primarily due to arthritis. These mattresses fit easily under or over various dog bedding... dogs loved them... very comfortable... seems to helps. Also, foam is easily cut to fit any size dog crate or bed. The cat loves sleeping on it too, so I cut a square cat-size piece for her, although she has no joint problems.

This pad comes rolled up pretty tightly. Make sure you unroll it and lay it flat right away. When I first unwrapped the pad, I thought no way is this anywhere near three inches. I had actually planned to return it. I discovered after letting it lay flat for a few days it fluffed right up and the firmness was perfect.

These eggcrate foam mattresses were exactly what we wanted for dorm beds. After much research of everyones' reviews I decided upon the 3 in. pad. I'm glad I did. I looked in the stores and didn't find any that had as much foam as these. Stores only sold 1 in. (which looked like 1/2 inch). It seems that eggcrate mattresses have changed over the last 10-15 years when I last had a 2 in. They don't seem as thick as they used to be. That is why the 3 in. was a good choice. The peaks were higher but there was enough density to the pad to add comfort to a dorm mattress. Make certain you let it air out and expand after shipping.

I highly recommend eggcrate mattresses for dorms. The sale, ordering, and shipping of this product was seamless. I am very satisfied with the transaction.

We purchased this product to help my husband transition from his hospital bed to our bed at home after his hip surgery. This product made that transition much easier as it provided support and cushioning. We are glad we made this purchase.
