He is a excellent guitarist of U.S.A. His play style is similiar with Yngwie malmsteen, David T.chastaine...and other neo-classical guitarist. But he is good at unique speed soloing, making good melody. This CD contains a his progressive approach... Some song remind me to listen progressive metal or progressive rock music. If you were progressive metal mania, this CD is not regretable opption.

after hearing the Harris/Chastain live CD, i knew i had to find other works by Harris. when i bought a copy of Ego Decimation Profile i was more than happy. this is still one of the better progressive metal CD's out there. there may be a few weak tunes toward the middle but the consecutive songs of hair on the e string, freudian trip, and brainwarp(one of the heavier) more than make up for those. tracks 1-4 are no soup either...
