I have used Egoiste Platinum faithfully for the last twelve years-it's the only fragrance I wear, and it's on me every day: in fact, if you can't smell the cologne, there's a very good chance that I didn't shower that day.... I used to wear a number of fragrances, but they never quite did it for me. And why does Egoiste Platinum work? Well, its opening scents are on the fruity, citrusy, light and dainty side; yet underneath it all, you have this strong sandalwood flavor, with just a dash of cedar. So it's intricate but it's not flimsy-it's certainly not the men's version of Chanel No. 5. And it's not brash either-people will not think that you're wearing way too much aftershave. With this fragrance, Chanel seems to have hit the nail right on the head, and given men a cologne that doesn't smell delicate, but which doesn't smell raw either.

A lot of information that I've seen on the Internet suggests that Egoiste Platinum is a good day time scent. I would suggest that it works just as well at night too. And to the extent that you really should just stick to one fragrance at a time, this one is thoroughly appropriate. So, if you are looking for a fragrance that will get attention, and have random women asking "what are you wearing?", this'll do. And if you just want a scent that reflects how complex you are, how chromatic you are, hands down, Egoiste Platinum will do the trick.

I wear this cologne for the office and I absolutelty love it. I have been wearing it for almost decade and I have received numerous compliments. It is definately a scent sophistication. I spray this one me several times in the morning and it wakes you up and gets you going so you can conquer the day! This scent is for a man with character and who knows what he wants out of life and goes out and gets it. My wife loves this one on me. I highly recommend this for office wear. Go get some!
