I have been using Egyptian magic for the last 4-5? years as my night cream. I am 42 years old and have virtually no wrinkles. I always moisten my face first with a spritz of witch hazel mixed with rose water (I mix together in a mister)then emulsify the egyptian magic in the palm of my hand. It spreads easier all over face and neck. I also like to put it in my hair (small amount) after washing while still wet, then it combs out easily and makes my curls softer and shinier. It works great on dry hair (tiny amount rubbed in palms of hands) as defrizzer and shine booster. I also enjoy it as a hand/cuticle cream and lip balm. you can also use it as a female moisturizer or lubricant. I love that it has no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Remember, honey is naturally antibacterial. I am sold for life! It is expensive at whole foods, but I sometimes see a deal on amazon. just check the shipping charge first...sometimes you may notice a much smaller price only to realize the shipping charge makes it as much as the other "expensive" looking prices. I love this stuff and the jar does last quite a long time. Oh, by the way, I did try to make this at home once and it turned into a blob of sticky mess. I must have put too much bees wax when melting it down. The chemistry must be exact to get the consistancy of the original product.

I took pictures of my recently purchased EMC (Egyptian Magic Cream) and sent it to email@example.com for authenticity verification and they replied what I got is a counterfeit jar of EMC.
EMC did not specify how to spot a fake one though. I sent the pictures of EMC (packaging, top view, front view,
bottom of the jar) and it is sad to get a fake one.
To On-line shops, please stop selling fake EMC.

I love the plain list of ingredients in this salve. It's simply olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, bee propolis and love. Yes, it says that on the label. I've heard you can make your own version at home, which is probably true since the ingredients aren't complicated. This stuff does not smell like something you want to eat, but has a sharp natural smell to it instead. It doesn't smell like honey, either. I'm fine with that because this stuff is a great a night time moisturizer for my face. It's too greasy for daytime use as far as I'm concerned. But for night, well, I love the way it sinks in and that there's no worrisome ingredients (I use mostly natural products). I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin, and this is so good at soothing redness and fading acne scars. It also speeds up the healing of existing blemishes. It's got the texture of a hard lip balm, so if you just drag your fingertips across the top and warm it up in your hands, that's enough product for your face. You have to massage it in, your face will look greasy and all, but it has never caused any break-outs on me. It has literally tons of uses listed on the jar, the only other purpose I've used it with success is as a spot de-frizzer for my hair when it's dry. EM is not good as a lip balm though, just pretty basic, and it does not help with bruises as far as I've experienced. I did have a bad cold awhile back that left me with a red, peeling nose, and this stuff did an incredible job of taking care of it within a couple days. Awesome. I feel that this stuff is overpriced for what it is, a salve made out of mostly household ingredients, but a 4 oz tub will probably last me at least six months. And that's with using it every night. It costs $[...] at Whole Foods, so I'll probably order from amazon.com next time. It's got so many uses that I recommend it and feel it's a great buy and a medicine cabinet staple, especially for people trying to use natural products.

I have purchased, and used many different lotions and creams over the years to address my dry ashen skin type, but found that Egyptian Magic all Purpose Skin Cream really does the trick for me. Usually after my initial application of a lotion or cream I would become aware that I needed to reapply that product to my feet or legs but with Egyptian Magic, I apply once in the morning for all day moisture. I even use it on my face in the morning and evening after I cleanse and remove makeup. I skin is soft, supple, and has a warm glow which gives me confidence during the day. And because it addresses so many of my needs, I've saved money because I no longer need to purchase costly facial or eye creams! I'm very happy with this product and thank the friend who recommend it.

My husband has very, very dry skin on some parts of his body - a form of eczema. This is the first product that has helped not only keep the dryness to a minimum, it helped clear up the scaly patches. This really is "magic" and I went back and bought two more to keep on hand. I understand you have to ensure you are receiving the real Egyptian Magic product but when you do, it's wonderful.

This is NOT original Egyptian Magic. It is counterfeit, scented garbage. NOTHING like the Egyptian Magic we have previously used which is clear and unscented and lovely for our children's skin. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, RETURN IT IF YOU HAVE.

I purchased this from Birchbox for $38.00, so this is a deal if it is legit product. My sole reason for buying this was for the scalp as I have psoriasis. The only products that had some positive effects have been prescription and I am getting tired of Doctors and the cost. Have been searching for a long time for something that softens the skin so that it easily lifts the dry/excess skin upon shampooing. This does just that and I am hoping it will lead to a smooth clear scalp. Even if I have to use it everyday to keep my scalp free of skin and flaking, it will be worth it. I have only used it 2 days and find the area behind and in my ears pretty clear. Aside from my main reason for buying it, I absolutely love the feel of this when rubbed into the skin like my hands. I plan to use on my feet next and expect the results will be the same. This product while a bit expensive, will last a long time. People have mentioned an odor or scent and I have to say that it is pretty much odorless. There is a slight hint of maybe beeswax but that is it. The feeling left on my hands is not greasy so I can see why people put it on their face, not sure I would do that at this point but being in my 60's with drying skin acknowledge it just might help.

Originally I went to a friends house, and she had this in her bathroom cabinet 4 years ago. I went online did a bit of research, and heard nothing but good things about this product. I bought it at whole foods for $50.00! It lasted me over a year a couple of years ago. I have let friends and family use it for different skin problems like darkness under the eyes. I have used it for old acne scars, stretch marks, and burn marks, even a tattoo I'm trying to get rid of using natural remedies. I have even tried it on my birth mark on my leg. It works but you must be consistent. I use it all over my body and it really gives your skin a beautiful natural glow. A little goes a long way. It has transformed my skin. I bought this product on Amazon because it has a great price point, unlike whole foods. Delivered quickly, and I can't say enough good things about this product. I highly recommend any one with skin discoloration to try this product, and you will see a difference in a week, or so. This is a product no one should ever be without. It actually does what it says it does. I will keep you posted on the tattoo situation. I believe this will work, but it will take a while for the tattoo.

I highly recommend this product. I am a lover of cosmetic products and use all levels of skin care and makeup. I have very dry skin that's sensitive and very light...I burn looking out of a window!! So I use products that really work on dry skin and are not irritating or make me red.
If I were to have to give up most all of my products and keep only my best ones, this one would be it. I also love Dr. Haushka Rose Day Cream. Those two would see me through. This product is solid yet melts on contact with your hand. It is a light oil based product, not a cream. There's only a few ingredients and they all pack a punch!! Use to soften all skin...I pull my hair back, clean my face, then scoop out the Magic and it melts on the skin!! When I wake up the next day I have a glow...this is a long term positive effect product!! Anyone can use it...for hands, cuticles, whatever...not scented so it's just the good stuff! I'm not affiliated with the company but I am a fan!! This a superior product for the money...you could buy moisturizer at the drugstore with everything but the kitchen sink in it, but why?

I have seen countless positive reviews for this product and I was looking forward to trying it out. Although I was unimpressed at first use, I wanted to wait to review until I had finished the jar. I thought that perhaps the benefits of the product would grow over time.
The product was greasy (no surprise, and not a problem if it works) and its odor is fairly unpleasant. Not a really big deal, but EM did not help with skin irritation, rashes, or even basic dry skin (elbows, hands & feet). I have no chronic skin issues and I wonder how someone with real skin issues would view this product.
It contains ingredients one can find in countless products in any health food store for a much more reasonable price. It does not even work as a hair pomade. I found it a waste of money.
